I just read through the whole NT yesterday and I saw it with new eyes.

Here are some thoughts:

Luke 6:40

The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.

Ephesians 5:8

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.

Galatians 6:7

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

James 1:22

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

James 2:17

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

1 Peter 1:16

for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

1 Peter 2: 1 and 15

Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.

For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.

1 John 1:5-6

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.

I John 2:6 and 28

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.

1 John 3:16-18

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

1 John 4:7

This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.

Matthew 3:8-10

Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.

It is time to put on the mind of Christ.
