Back in the 50's and into the 60's there used to be live theater, good shows like the twilight zone, and authors, poets, and intellectuals on late night talk shows. Now it is all just dumb "entertainment." Our version of the Roman "Bread and Circus" crossed with Barnum and Bailey's best freak shows. No good deed goes unpunished. |
