after 20 years of having lived in Californie, he doesn't speak american but speaks perfect grammar parisienne french without a trace of accent or village dialect
but he is still afraid for his life beacuse he reluctly grants an interview but had to be disguised with a wig and fake glasses to avoid recognition from the Aliens.

yep, very plausible story.

I had a best friend who lived in my neighborhood for 10 years, he was vietnamese and would usually speak that language with his family.. I would suspect the same thing with his french family.

But whether or not his body language is off or if he is wearing a wig, the important question is.. Who the fuck is this guy?

There are several more alien themed movies due out in the next 12 months, but the themes aren't really appropriate to viral marketing like this. Cloverfield 2 has been announced but keeps getting pushed back and is estimated to be a 2014 film, so a little far off for viral marketing I'd think.

If I had to take a guess, this french footage is viral marketing for Michael Bay's top secret alien blow-em-up summer movie.

Hey, people really made their hair look like that, and wore glasses like that in 1980.

For sure, looks like a well done fake. But I was just thinking, so this guy makes a fake video. Puts it out on a little french blog. Where its passed to the most jaded, thick skinned other-people's=doom haters site on the web for 'analysis'.

And like 10 pages in, all we got is wig and fake glasses. Hmmmmm. And video quality, which just could be BETA quality.

Probably because they tick and chime and it would be on the recording. Those clocks had a stop pin on the back (so you didn't have to smash them against the wall to shut them up).

we have a 10 year old french immigrant kid who goes to California.
This kid is only capable of speaking the french dialect that he speaks at home.
he cannot speak parisienne french because he had not had a french high school education.
but in this video he speaks a very perfect grammar french of an educated person.
even if he went to french classes in California as a kid, he would still speak french with his dialect accent.

This is the clue that everyone has missed.
the story is false simply because he said that he migrated to California when he was 10 and has lived there for 20 years, but speaks parisienne french. Compri'??

Ok firstly in the 80's style has been back en vogue for sometime and any of these items could easily be picked up....p.s the records can also be picked up easily from most charity shops....this is staged....

No I get what you're saying, but it isn't really plausible.. You're saying that for a French immigrant his dialect and grammar is too perfect. It's an interesting theory but not enough to debunk the entire thing. Lol

the rims of his glasses look wrong for the 80's also the plant in the background again not an 80's look and that looks like a syrup he's wearing

I think the quality is too good and also having all the 80's paraphenelia in the background just makes it look like a set up.

the problem which arises here though is that even though he might have been in France in 1980, then he must have still made the predictions around the same timescale.
