didnt they ..cough.. reach the moon in the 60s?

In the 1980's, There things like this would have been filmed in 16mm film and would appear high def... If it was not filmed in 16mm, it would have been filmed in either hi-band umatic video or betacam. Both which would give a high definition for broadcast qaulity. This tech was available in the 1980's. I know I was using it at the time. Umatic or 16mm would be this clear no problem at all.For all the people calling fake... Were you actually even alive them? Before you cry wolf, at least learn enough to know what you are talking about... Seems real enough, but may be off quit a bit as predictions go. yeah, I can remember seeing quality like that back then. Somebody else was picking on his pants --- saying "tight legs" were not in.... but yes they were....but not in 1980. Also, are those stone-washed jeans --- we did not see those until 84-88 right? that has me sketchy. The color scheme and lighting looks very authentic to me though. The trousers look like grey corduroys. They were around then in that style... Had a pair myself.
