my mom has some old VHS/BETA tapes that are 27 years old, that still function, last time i watched one, picture was quite clear a couple years ago

And it was shit compared to the composite cameras that a TV studio would have had.

All the inconsistencies in this video are pretty ironic. First of all, if all you can point out is his "attire" and pants, I got news for you: You are showing your lack of experience and individuality.

Now back to topic, he's body language is not reminicsent of the 80 at all. And his sassy attitude, the way he raises his eye brows and acts all uncomfortable, over the top acting makes it even more obvious.

He is actually "40“ in the video. Does he looks like he is 40 to anyone?

This is the type of videos created by the elite themself, this are the ones that tend to go viral, appear in Yahoo News for the media to debunk, and the mass gets the impression online videos are a false as we get closer to the real bad times. When video first became available to the masses there were a few formats vying for prominance.

VHS (Not great quality)
Betamax ( better quality, but for the betacams the video was rused pass the recording head by about 7 times the normal speed to increase resolution)

V2000 (excellent quality), but no one wanted these as they were more expensive to produce.

Umatic high band was broadcast quality video equipment.
These were not used in anyway for home use. They were only used by professional film and television companies.

European television had higher video resolution than American television and it was certainly so during the 1980's. When I was stationed in Britain during the 80's, I marveled the BBC broadcast video quality, almost Beta-Max but really couldn't comprehend why only 4 channels. Yes, some broadcast stations this very day still use Beta-Cam in house.

This video is a fake based soley off of his bad wig and his body language.

I watched the video first without sound and then replayed it a few times. My initial reaction was that it was fake and then upon closer inspection, I noticed his shifty eyes, his hand movements, and other small mannerisms that are all tell-alll signs of a bad liar.

You are all focusing too heavily on the aesthetics and camera quality when it's very obvious by his choice of wording and body language, that this is unauthentic.

It seems to me that any time someone defends this film's authenticity, they immediately go to the "but look at the film and props" defense. But honestly, even if the camera-work is legit 1980s quality, that sort of thing could easily be obtained by a hollywood production team.

There are so many little idiosyncrasies that give everyone the gut reaction that this is fake. It's not just the camera work, the soft-box lighting, the fake wig, body language, the script, poor french dialect, or the clock that doesn't move a second. There's something about this video that is obviously trying too hard.

The reality is that a lot of you simply WANT to believe this video. Who are the real sheeple?

This would be real easy to determine if we could just get the guys name. We could find out if he was legit based on a record of his past since the video. Seems fake, but it's a bit too difficult to say with certainty.

well, i'm from the 70s and that video is legit. the man is legit. the pad is legit.

in all honesty, the accuracy is there with his predictions, but to precisely pick 2012 for the encounters, makes me feel it is incorrect! it certainly is possible though, this decade!
