Fascism....I love it....Shows just how stupid you people really are... Ohhhh I would never run my household the way the TPTB does...But then you look and credit card debt for American families and you find they are the highest they have ever been, meaning you ARE running your households like the TPTB.

The government requires X amount of money to run. They collect Y amount in revenue from taxes. When X is greater than Y the government must borrow money (print and sale through the fed)to continue to operate raising the national debt. When Y is greater than X the debt gets paid down.

Now for the funny part....Because of the imaginary threat of WMD's and following war in Iraq, America's government has been forced to run with a higher X than Y for years. Those same people who now lie and accuse our government of being FACIST are the same people who supported the spending and lies that forced us to finance this war. When you allow corporate America and the rich to not pay taxes it greatly reduces your Y, the government is forced to borrow, and your national debt goes up. The working man alone cannot make up that difference with tax increases. The same people who lie and accuse our government of being FACIST are the same people who lie and support corporate welfare and tax welfare for the rich driving down our governments Y.

So now you find yourselves at a crossroads. Do you remove the corporate tax welfare and the tax breaks for the wealthy and pay down the debt for your children or do you continue with X greater than Y and heap the debt burden onto them. Those that accuse our government as being FACIST will continue to lie and say yes....Those who are sane and responsible will say end corporate welfare and special treatment for the rich.

While I was watching this, I was thinking, ok, big deal, everyone knows you can't financially survive while spending like this, and the parody was not that clever, UNTIL the bit about the kids. How freaking brilliant.

Excellent, very well done.

So you forgot that a huge majority of Americans were adamantly opposed to TARP but it happened anyway and the handful of corporations that control the media pounded the war drums without opposition to get the public into agreement. Not to mention that advertising is everywhere urging, no brainwashing people into buying useless crap with money they don't have.

Big surprise we are seriously at a huge disadvantage and by the time the tide turns it may be to late but you go on making jokes about it if it makes you feel better about yourself.

I say everyone should beat each other up because of money. What other alternative is there. Also everyone should wear tags around their necks indicating how much money they earn and how much they are worth.

That's brilliant. Combine this with the sociological phenomenon of everyone trying to find their "identity" in terms of other people's opinions, you see how we have quantified our desire for identity with "money".

Obviously what we use as "money" is accepted although it is easily counterfeited (fabricated) through debt by both banks and governments, since we believe a consensus must exist in the collective for the standard or rule by which we measure our worth.

So, "money" has transcended an equivalent of labor and productivity above and beyond bare survival to something ethereal, a projection given to us by those who control it's issuance.

This is the big lie, we are all being lied to and God help us if we don't question the lie and seek answers beyond what we are fed by the TV, media and public education.

This about says it all,,,doesn't it?

palm1
Each time a person stands for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he or she sends forth a tiny ripple of hope. And crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance. Few are willing to embrace the disapproval of their fellows, the censure of their colleagues, the wrath of their society. Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential vital quality for those who seek to change a world that yields most painfully to change. Re: "I Would Like To Raise My Debt Limit" - Hilarious Video!!!
Just another "hilarious" video to still make the people think it's their fault they're in debt.

The system is set up so you will go into debt. There is no way around it, unless when you're 16 or 18, you're handed a car (that's paid for) and a place to live (that's paid for) and a job (with health, dental, and eye insurance), so any money you make would be going into savings.

Unfortunately, for most people, you do not get a job right out of high school, especially one you're willing to work for the rest of your life AND that will insure your health in the process.

More than likely, if you are handed a car, it's a used car that will probably last you a good 5 years before things start going horribly wrong, if you're extra careful with it.

And your place to live (if you move out of your mother's house), is on average around $500/mo and that's not including utilities, if it's not included in the rent.

So, take one bad car accident that totals your car out and one surgery or health issue, and then BAM! you're in debt. You're unable to work, you are without a car, and you have a $50,000 hospital bill.

In the meantime, they shove more material items down your throat such as clothes, cars, computers, and televisions that are "new and improved and better for the environment," so if you do not purchase them, nobody will like you because you look like you are poor.

You are all forgetting that it's not "having money" that makes you "successful" in America. It's LOOKING LIKE you have money... all so you won't get treated like the poverty level scum you all hate so much.

kthxbye.

There is this thing called "allegory" in which actors or objects are used symbolically to represent other, real world things or ideas. It is used to teach a moral to the audience.

Let me help you out here, the banker represents Mr. Market twisted and malformed from excessive credit/debt and central planning interference.

The debt addict represents the government who continually spends beyond its means (taxes) and avoids raising taxes for political expediency.

The child, who's future is signed away, unwittingly represents all the children in our country who are being sold away into debt slavery for the governments desires to live larger in the present.
