It has always been an occult sign, and has always been a conduit for demonic energy. No matter how much rubbish this arch-deceiver of GLP puts out, it will not change this fact. He's just lying to himself and the rest of those who listen to him, and one day he will have to answer for these abominations and for leading others to eternal ruin.

Money systems compartmentalized diverse practices and centralized them in cities. Allowing ruling powers to lose direct touch with the people and directly lose the need for virtue. Virtue is kept in check by duty, either stemming from love or fear. In a way it encompasses the metaphor of the fall from grace.
