Like I already said, I beleive there always was bunches of wise and enlightened people all around earth, but I don't think they were and still are organized in some kind of secret organization.


I believe the Bavarian illuminati if they ever existed are an outgrow of the Rosicrucians and masons since they share the same political agenda and esoteric knowledge.



I believe 'Illuminatis' as a group existing for millenias is an old meme that existed among students of the mysteries (theosophists call them "great white brotherhood", sometimes they are Atlanteans or even "Aliens", people living in Agartha, ...) that was appropriated by conspiracy theorists to become the modern "Illuminatis" we now know (NWO, evil bankers, TPTB, etc...).
