I heard a strange humming sound this morning at 6:50, in Chicago.

I was getting ready and heard it, it made a sound like...whew-whew-whew-whew-whew-whew-whew, right above the house.

When i moved out of the room i didn't hear it, but when i went back in i heard it.

There is nothing else in that room but clothes.

I imagined that that's what an alien craft would sound like.

What if they're testing out sounds for the fake invasion?

What could these hums be?

It's first and only report from Los Angeles for this "strange sounds" and some flying "objects" ..

Can anyone give us more information for this video, fake or what ..

Love to see some expert in video montage here ..

Read this thread yesterday, never said anything to any of my family, about 1 oclock last night my daughter shoulted that she could hear a noise, I thought it was someone outside or something like that, she opened the window and this same noise - went to get a camera to record it but gradually disappeared, I then told her about these post and freaked her out.

I am based in North East England approx 5 miles north of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

I also heard something at around 6AM GMT in Portugal, Porto.
It was like all that noises but without that "horn" like sound.

I didn't record it because it wasn't loud enough seemed like far away.

It had periods of 30-40 seconds and would stop for a minute and come back again.

Just nazis making loud noises on the dark side of the moon.they are just preparing for invasion from space.

Fuckety fuck fuck fuck. I heard the same type sound yesterday afternoon in the Denver area. It seemed to be coming from outside on the other side of my laundry room, but when I got up to check it out it stopped. The furnace wasn't going and my washer and dryer were off, too, so I have absolutely no idea what it was.

Any serious ideas on what this could be..

Hmmm.. The more I think about this, I remember a few months ago, I go for a run regularly in the morning, and I've looked up a few times after hearing sounds which appear to be coming from a plane, however I could not find a plane? To be honest, I never really thought anything of it, as low cloud cover was likely to blame, however there were a couple of days when the sky was completely blue and I heard what sounded like jet engines above, but nothing was there.

I never thought anything more of it, until I started reading, and listening to some of the videos here.

ok, story time. My two aunts seem to hear weird humming sounds as well outside their homes. Both of them hear the sounds while their significant others are sleeping, and the scary part for them is that when they investigate the sound, like you did, it stopped.

My Aunt's friend also heard a weird humming outside her window, and when she got near the window to look outside it stopped! It stopped as she was walking to the window, as if "it" knew the whole time.

These accounts happened while the lights were off, just as mine happened today, the light was off. Was your light off?

I'm pretty sure all the lights were off because it was the middle of the afternoon, but I'm not 100% sure. The only fluorescent light fixture (the tube kind that's most likely to make noises) in the house is in the kitchen, but the sound wasn't coming from that direction and it's very unlikely it would have been on during the day anyway.

I'd been sitting down at my computer, but as soon as I stood up it stopped.

I've never heard a sound like it outside the movies...

they won't be blowing sofars apollo. come on now. the sounds are caused by the WAVE and various movements of earth, NOT SOFARs.

testing sounds for fake alien invasion, perhaps? The sounds are real, and they're a mystery...but, it's freaky when the sound stops once you become aware of it.

Didn't happen to me, i had to rush to get outta the house so i couldn't investigate. But i looked up at the sky as i left and i didn't see a thing, and i couldn't hear anything while i was outside either, mostly because of the car and wind and stuff like that.

I hear all these explanations about what this sound really is and they do not make sense at all, compare to the feeling I have deep within. Of course, I am as many others stupid to program myself to believe whatever, if I'm not careful!

Although my understanding about this is close to nothing, I'm pleased to feel that my inner knowing is different.
