I have heard those sounds today!

It was in Germany, in the city Goch, at the cityborder near the hospital.

Last week I also walked my dog there, and also thought I heard something. It was rainy and a bit stormy, so I thought it was the wind in the trees.

I have looked up the sound of a shofar at youtube, and I must say it sounded like that, but a bit lower in tone, and more powerful. Sometimes it sounded more like giant metal plates shoving at each other (or something like that, hard to describe).

There is traffic there, also plains flying by, so I must concentrate to hear it. But now and then it was very easy to hear. I can imagine that most people would not notice the sound.

I will go back tomorrow with my camera (although it has a crappy microphone). In a couple of days I have my tablet which has a better mic.

I also noticed today that there were dogs barking, from the direction the sound was coming. I walked there for about 40 minutes, the dogs barked for 5 minutes, I think 2 or 3 times.

I tried to observe the best I could:
I was counting, the sound lasted reaching 10,11 or so.

Then counting to 30-40, the sound starts again.

I heard to sound 2 times, 3 to 4 times and then nothing for a couple of minutes. Maybe I did not hear it because I was walking, I had to concentrate some of the times to hear the sound.

The winforce today is 3-4 bft, I tried to relate the sound with the windblows, But it did not seem to relate.

Where the sound is coming from is an small industrial area, I saw a big silo near a tall building. There are also 3 windmills in that direction.

It could be that the wind was making the sound, I have thought of that, but then I asked myself: I have never heard the wind makes that kind of sound, with no objects except trees in the coming 500 meters at least.

So I thought, you can call me crazy, but I just wanted this to share, and I am very curious about your reaction.

So you can ask me anthing!

No problem. I thought this is so weird, which made it the effort of typing this worth. Maybe someone from that area can explain the sound?
