DUH...You need to change your name...I don't think you could possibly be a DUH?

OK after considering your request, I have decided to write YOU...HERE...

Many I'm sure will disagree, but that is OK.

I will start at the beginning of my transformation, that began 4 yrs ago after I was involved in a horrible physical event, which landed me in the hospital for 40 days.

Most of the right side of my face is gone, and my right pectoral was used, along with lower abdomen muscle to fill the hole in the right side of my face.

The doctors didn't think I would make it, as the hole was so big, and the cartroid (forgive the spelling)artery was weeping upon my arrival.

Why did this happen? Well I have always relied upon my body, I was a lifter since I was 12 yrs old, and naturally very strong, in fact until 4 yrs ago I could dead lift 430lbs for 10-12 reps. At my age that is a good amount of weight...And there are other reasons...

Anyway...I came home after 3 major surgeries, and one day while setting alone, recovering from my injury, I was sitting in the kitchen my eyes were drawn to the rain falling from the roof outside.

Somewhere on the inside, a dialog started. It went like this:

Do you notice each drop is different from the other? No. Well they are. Do you know you are different? Yes. I don't mean it that way! Yes you are different now physically, but that is not what I mean.

Do you remember yrs ago (1974) going to Shilo Christian Center. Yes. Do you remember what I spoke to you. Yes. I told you, that you were not like them, and you questioned me, by saying "God those are my brothers, of course we are the same" and I said "No! you are not the same".

You are worse, that is why I chose you. You are like the bowl of fruit, all the other pieces look good, you are rotten, and I chose to use you for my reasons. To hold you in my hand, and never take my eyes off of you. This why I have a tool, that will not steal my glory.

I plan everything. Nothing is left to chance. There is no free will. The garden and the fall were planed. Evil was created and planned. Remember the story of Samson, he wanted tat woman. He asked his father, and his parents objected. But right below that, in the next verse it says "But they didn't know that God had put that desire for that women in the heart of Samson, that God might find an opportunity against the Philistines, since their judgment was so harsh against the Israelites.

Never put anything above my grace and love for you. Not sin, temptation, failure, the bible, people, nothing. Yet don't fear failure, don't look to sin, yet at the same time count it as nothing. For sin is not the issue. I am the issue.

To be free from the power and penalty of sin, is a complete work of Christ. Do not fear it. Do not give it thought of reverence. The law of the Spirit is the better way, other than that, seek to offend no ones conscience...

I do not seek to sin...But if I do sin, I do...If I don't then I don't...What happens to the boogieman when you no longer jump when he comes around the corner and says boo! He looses his power. Thus temptation, and sin are something I am free from...

Do we somehow believe that Paul was knocked off his horse, blinded, his sight restored, and he was somehow fully matured? Did he not grow, as we do, in our walk with Christ?

Did Paul, not grow as Luther? (Wesley and Finney) I have doubts about...Still, should we think Paul at the end of his life, still believed what he held true at the beginning of his walk? (This does not include the places where Paul says, "this is from the Lord" or This was revealed to me by The Spirit".

Did Paul know his writings would end up in a book, someday, and that people would worship that book, allowing that book to take the place of the intimate leading of God's Spirit, which is REAL Christianity?

Do you remember the story in the NT where Priscilla, and Aquila Meet Apollos?

Now a jewish named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, arrived in Ephesus. He was an eloquent speaker, mighty in the scriptures.

although he knew only the baptism of John.

but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained the way of God to him more accurately.
