Recently tried Ayahuasca for the first time, here is my story
Hey folks,

A little over a month ago, I tried Ayahuasca for the first time with a Shaman for 3 nights of sacred ceremony. After the death of my girlfriend 3 years ago, I have been living in darkness and I finally was able to get the healing I received. Here is my story, I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Don't og with Percy from Iquitos, he'll give you watered down medicine - he wants to keep it 'light' so he gets more aya tourists.

You've been warned.

Re: Recently tried Ayahuasca for the first time, here is my story
You can legally order and import this stuff in small quantities. But a single root is probably enough to take many trips. One of the wonders of the recipe is that humans could have never figured it out through trial and error. Too many variables and the root itself is deadly. So get the recipe exactly right or you'll be dancing with rainbow bird forever. The boiling times and mixture must be right. Better yet just go to peru. The indians say that the recipe was given to them by the star gods.

I ordered some back in 2005 and followed a recipe on line. I had an obe where i was floating around after my physical body. I eventually ended up pissing myself in the closet and snapped to with my wife saying wtf is going on. So maybe i got the recipe off a little bit. Haven't messed with it since but i had no trouble ordering it. It was just a 6 inch section of a vine in a plastic bag. Good luck.

Re: Recently tried Ayahuasca for the first time, here is my story
I have had 3 journeys to date, but with very weak watered down medicine.
My partner on the other hand has done 2 journeys with a Brazilian shaman and is currently doing a 2 week el dietta in the mountains.

He is a herbalist/healer and he claims that this plant is probably the most potent healer on earth. Claims that it gets inside you and knows exactly what is needed.

Gives an example of a man who lost his daughter many years ago in an accident and had never got over it. On the plant he was taken to the accident, saw the paramedics working on her, and then saw her after death. Radiant, beautiful and at peace. My partner says this man reversed his age immediately after this.

They say there are two phases of life - before ayahuasca and after.
It is definitely a plant with a conscience and a wisdom hard to fathom. I have such respect for it that I am going slowly, slowly, baby steps.
But what a gift to mankind.

Now if we can just stop the destruction of the rainforest.
Apparently that was what made the south american shamans avail it to the westerners. For the plants protection. Those that experience it - accept its power and want to protect it.

Thank you so much for sharing that wonderful healing, spiritual enlightening miracle.

I've not tried any shaman experiences, but have researched much on this, concerned about the realms and the distortions some have gotten.

Your own frequency and preparation, intentions and the sacred or spiritual significance you gave this and the gratitude/respect must have made a difference.

I've had this plan, since the kids don't go to Church, as to me they are corrupt, but I have faith, to put up bulletins boards, all over and messages, art, Christ's lessons, only the love ones, and Buddha, and some of the philosophers, and then some Church.

And I'm going to add some of the parts you learn as well.

My youngest son is meditating a little. He has gifts of insight, but dealing with wiring disorder, apraxia, and learning disability.

This is what I wish to leave them the love, and heal all hurts, show the way to gain peace and solve problems

If only we could all be healing partners to each other, tending to the needs of others, what a different world we would live in.

Re: Recently tried Ayahuasca for the first time, here is my story
I had an experience and seeing the pictures surprised me. This was not with the herbs, but had been reading on a healing garden, a Russian healer, physicist, psychic, who had created a wonderful sanctuary estate, where all that he planted grew oversized and quickly.

One of the pictures he shared, was so magical. I think there were two, two trees, similar to yews, that looked as if they were having a conversation, forms that seemed a bit like Dr. Seus, and real charachter. In another, the young tree had a long neck, alpaca head, gentle eye, and something very Dr Seus, tufts growing on top his head.

I'll find them.

From his garden: [link to www.levashov.info]

I have some gifts, and one that occasionaly comes is clairolfaction. I can smell and literally seem to step into the scene, not something that I can choose, it randomly comes. Well this time, I could smell, sense, feel, as if I had walked in. He had shared that he had conducted an experiment where he burned a leaf, and the tree remembered, they read our energies and are psi themselves.

This was just roughly a week ago.

I went to sleep and was picturing the trees out back and the forest near us, and wanted to touch their bark, and so imagined it, but the trees had actually sprung up for me, and I was in the scene very vividly. I was also feeling sad about carelessness, or having harmed nature, and hoped not to be ungrateful for any gifts we have been given in this life and take for granted the world around us. I didn't want to harm any form of consciousness if I could avoid this, so was deep in contemplating this, when it happened.

And then I was entered into this realm.

I can only say it was like being shown the most beautiful wooden homes, I wanted to capture this architecture that had this other world magical feel, and yet, there were some rooms up in the trees, slanted off, and bridges between them, walkways that also sloped and slanted, and it became ever increasingly complex, more and more intense for over a half hour, fractals, and then again more.

It was like, we see the trees, and they're their own realm of homes and nature, very hard to explain.

It was another realm altogether, and a different Spirit, feel, so I ended up starting to feel lonely.

When I did, this blond elfin/angel type man stepped out of another tree and greeted me, he was very kind, and filled with peace, and I saw nature, insects, birds, and he told me they were the children.

Somehow the scene shifted to ever more fractals, and intense ones, like a few of the more wooden or nature pictures you showed, only it was like this combined with sliding down every vine, every branch.

It was amazing. It was like the first part, sliding into the pictures, the scents, that activated some part of my mind, and pineal.

If we use the gifts we have, meditate, or practice, others fire up as well, we're to use our consciousness.

This thread brought that all back.

Interesting. I have been to a few ceremonies and have found the experience sublimely unlike any other.

It is certainly soul work. The people I have met there are incredible.

Happy to know it is wide spread and growing in popularity.

I has planned to go to Peru for 15 days this year as well, but an unexpected confrontation with law enforcement depleted my travel funds. Sigh,...

Hopefully there will be next year.

Cheers OP, I look forward to reading your experience and wish you all the best!!

Nobody cares Candance, it may help you to go try some Aya and get your head right. Obviously meditation hasnt helped you.

Aya, Mushrooms, and DMT (which I havent got around too) are like are the ultimate debugger and reprogrammer. Not everyone has the time patience or foresight until you take these. With the way television programs you from a little child meditation just want snap you back to reality as will these plants.

Maybe after some work with plants and shamans you will eventually find value in meditation and a healthy diet, but until then these plants can help for a quick reload of the original OS.

Meditation is what maintains it after.

FROM THE LINK:
"I was so blown away that I had trouble breathing and had to force myself to get back to my center. But each time I got to the breathing, it intensified some more and it was a vicious cycle of centering myself and then losing my breath. My heart was racing and the visions continued to get more intense, guided by the Shaman’s music in the other room. Part of me wanted to get up and go back inside the main room but I was just stuck and there was no way I was going to distract my attention away from the awesomeness that was happening in my mind, body and deep within my soul. The grandmother continued to pour love all over me in such a gentle and soothing way. I started feeling a sense of deep gratitude and even whispered “Thank you” several times as tears just fell. My heart was on fire."

Breathing is what always gets me when ever I am tripping. I find myself losing an hour where I come to and have to take a deep breath as if I had forgotten to. It can be scary.

Last time I tripped I didnt prepare well. I thought I had, but I miscalculated completely and I tell you I am not new these plants. In one way or another I had always tripped with a friend or at least someone around.

I decided from a friends advice, that I would trip a lone. Not only did my music mysteriously stop in the middle of my trip but everything around me went completely silent and I lost touch with my environment and was thrown quickly onto the outer edges of the universe where I had a long discussion with "reggie" which looked much like the cat from Alice in Wonderland. He explained the laws of the universe and answered every question, but because the trip was so intense and I had no anchor I lost most of it on the trip home.

What I do remember is this when we die we dont die, there is no escape from this cycle of life. This scared me maybe because I never really let the words ring in my head before. Sometimes I am somewhat of an escapist and hope that I just blank out upon death, but that is simply not the case. There is no way to not exist.

I've also always had this weird relationship with electronics. They respond to me in a way that most dont get to experience. We have a closed mouth way of communicating to eachother. I can expand if you like, but for now the purpose of mentioning is to point out when I came back to reality, it was even more apparent then it had been.

All things are connected and my best guess is that we are living in an electric universe.
