I'm half polish and lived in PA thirty years ago the people were prejudice against the Polish.

I am looking for the kernel of anti-Polish sentiment in U.S I have heard Polish jokes, usually making them out to be dumb, but otherwise I know nothing about them except Hitler invaded Poland and Lech Walen...(Polish is not so easy to spell). The other day I looked for material to read about Poland to try to find out what the country and it's people are like. So I have no opinion but would like to know about them. Same with Ukraine.
