Re: I am 34 years old and I never had a job!
I started working part-time when I was 12.. you can count babysitting before that if you want. I had enough money to pay for my tuition (with some scholarships I got because I worked hard for my grades). I continued to work through 6 years of university, where I earned two degrees. This gave me enough money for housing and food. I graduated with zero debt. I worked the following summer from graduation (as I did all previous summers at 40+ hrs a week, Easter and Christmas) and saved up enough money to furnish my new apartment and move to a town 20 hrs away from home so I could have a full time job in my degree related field. I worked full time in my chosen profession (teaching) and when I had summer holiday, I would pick up a summer job for extra cash, or teach summer school. My first time "off" was during maternity leave of my first born. I decided to update my education and took courses with my time "off". I returned to work in a part-time fashion as to not lose tenure and seniority and figured out a plan so that I could still work and take care of our 3 children.

I am also 34. I own my home (I have built 2 with my own hands and sold) and I have no debt. I take yearly vacations and drive a good enough (10 years old because I am not vain) car.

In my spare time, I cure autism, am a practicing nutritionist, cook all my meals from scratch (which are gluten, dairy, soy, corn, nut and egg free), help countless people a day for free on the internet with supplements, diet and disease. I treat thyroid disorder. I also keep up on all things worldy and woo like.

I think you are lazy.

Re: I am 34 years old and I never had a job!
Having a traditional "job" is really over-rated. Most of the bosses and co-workers I had in the past were straight energy vampires & sociopaths. Instead of doing any real work they were constantly trying to deflect issues or blame someone else. Why do people subject themselves to that kind of crap day in and day out?

It's way easier these days with the internet to forge your own future and work for yourself.

Your in the ukraine, make some of those wooden dolls and sell em. I see folks setup at craft shows selling them like crazy. Put them on the internet, etsy.com maybe. Market them as handmade in the ukraine and make a ton of money. They need to change "get a job" to "go make some money". Takes the pressure off a bit. Market youself, your country and anything else that you can think of. Try to think of something a machine can not reproduce easily. Best of luck

I am also 34 as well!!! I finished high school only, own my own company, have 20 clients they each pay me $495.00 per month. I am expecting another 20 or so clients this year and maybe a few others in case any of these drop off.I might employ someone or just keep the money to myself. I work about 15-20 hours a week, I just bought my own house and I am probably going to buy a new porsche.

I enjoy my free time, it is amazing how free time makes a difference, and it is good to have parents who can provide all of this.
 Quoting: Bychenok 8368909

WoW! You are blessed. I enjoy working, but plan on retiring early. I have a question though, what do you do with all your freetime? Do you ever feel the least bit of guilt?
You should really think of volunteering with an organization for the underpriveledged starting out 1 day a week. Maybe a soup kitchen? Pick your own hours.
You would feel better for it! And if you ever do decide to work, or part time work, there will be something to put on your application. If you decide to do this, have fun with it!

I like my job, I'm not very well paid though but who cares? I'm not "entrepreneurial" type but I'm very good with my hand s and very good with with problem solving and special thinking. I'm more happy now then when I was unemployed under the tribulations of the reign of that evil witch Thatcher. Now I live in a house and eat food everyday and o boy I am I thankful for that! ( got the fuck out of HM Prison UK PLC - that helped a lot!)

What is a job? Oh you mean one of those slave trades where people dress nice and commute for 4 hours a day, to sell a product nobody wants, much less needs, just because some guy over there in the other box is making more than them?

From the way I hear about it from other people, I hope I never catch one.

Job free. A work virgin! Congratulations?

stay free bro, people always will give you food and home, thats most important, if you have that and more , lucky , stay free

most of people on world today pass tru life working and working for others interests and the die without knowing the meaning of life....
Put your awareness to work, not your mind. The mind is not the right instrument for this task. The timeless can be reached only by the timeless. Your body and your mind are born subject to time; only awareness is timeless, even in the now.
