Re: BREAKING INTEL: US and Turkey 'ready to strike Mid-East', says Russia. Iran blames US, UK for scientist murder
One of the responses weighed in Tehran to meet the rising military pressure might be an open declaration of Iran as a nuclear power.

By accepting a visit by IAEA inspectors on Jan. 28 - to investigate charges that Iran is running a clandestine nuclear bomb program - Tehran may be moving toward that irreversible admission - or possibly its first nuclear test.

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is very much in favor of facing the world as a nuclear-armed Islamic Republic.

He calculates that this fait accompli has a good chance of warding off a Western and/or Israeli military attack.

Thursday night, Jan. 12, President Obama put in a call to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss coordinating US and Israeli moves for a military operation against Iran, which many US media believe to be imminent.

Well our country is about to experience a huge civil war and i'd say we are very close to it.

Actually it's not a civil war at all. They're going for total dictatorship, the ruling party recently imprisoned the military commander and it was like the last step of preparations (lol its true and funny no one gives a fuck everyone just watches).

Events are leading to a rebellion though, I don't think they can make us attack syria at all.

Very good chance that this will be the false-flag that tips US into war with Iran.

Some sort of chemical or biological attack on US citizens or troops maybe Afghanistan or US soil so that Iran can be blamed.

Iran has pay back in mind

PALO ALTO, California - Despite a strong pitch by Iran, the United Nations has failed to condemn the latest assassination of an Iranian nuclear scientist, thus sending a bad signal about the UN's determination to fight global terrorism and to condemn all acts of terrorism even-handedly.

According to a source in Iran, Tehran is on the verge of making clear that "all bets are off and one more incident like this and then their [US and Israeli] scientists will be fair game".

Re: BREAKING INTEL: US and Turkey 'ready to strike Mid-East', says Russia. Iran blames US, UK for scientist murder
Sounds about right. A two-pronged attack to keep Iran and Syria off balance - dividing Russia and China's support for each in the process. Turkey feigns non-aggression against Iran while attacking Syria, Iran's ally - the US and ISrael attack Iran, Syria's ally - the two wildcards are China and Russia. Will Russia hit Turkey when they attack Syria? Will China back Iran with more than words?

Israel could just nuke the desert of iran, create a propaganda outbreak of a nuke test, and get rid of iran. I wouldn't be surprised if they went that far.

Gosh. Ottoman Empire is just an illusion and NO ONE cares about it anymore.

Plus, who cares about Empires and kings and gladiators? Its fucking 2012 you gotta do better than that.

You need to read about the independance war of turkey. We fought against all of the commonwealth nations plus their puppets. (quite a lot)

In fact, we sent the world a letter which said that your sons are our sons as well, now that they're dead on our soil together with us.

It's kinda like scapegoats vs alpha males. Once you realise that there are no SIDES in wars, it'll be the last realisation you'll ever experience lol.

You should take dutch people as examples, they know their shit about individual independancy very well.. And maybe bravery from scottish and turkish.

Re: BREAKING INTEL: US and Turkey 'ready to strike Mid-East', says Russia. Iran blames US, UK for scientist murder
"There is a likelihood of military escalation of the conflict, towards which Israel is pushing the Americans," Nikolai Patrushev, who heads the Kremlin's Security Council, told Interfax news agency.

He also said he believes Western countries are getting close to launching a military intervention in Syria, in an attempt to undermine Iran's regional standing.

Patrushev, a former head of the main successor to the Soviet-era KGB, said Tehran could respond by blocking the Strait of Hormuz between Oman and Iran, through which 35 percent of the world's seaborne traded oil passes.

"It cannot be ruled out that the Iranians will be able to carry out their threat to shut exports of Saudi oil through the Strait of Hormuz if faced with military actions against them," Patrushev said in an interview published on Thursday.

Iran: The Neocons Are At It Again
by Ralph Nader

The same neocons who persuaded George W. Bush and crew to, in Ron Paul's inimitable words, "lie their way into invading Iraq" in 2003, are beating the drums of war more loudly these days to attack Iran. It is remarkable how many of these war-mongers are former draft dodgers who wanted other Americans to fight the war in Vietnam.

With the exception of Ron Paul, who actually knows the history of U.S.-Iranian relations, the Republican presidential contenders have declared their belligerency toward Iranian officials who they accuse of moving toward nuclear weapons.

The IDF is assembling elite teams of computer hackers to lead the nation’s cyber-warfare efforts.

Last month, the army recruited close to 300 young computer experts, many of them without college or even high-school degrees.

“These are some of the top experts in their field,” a senior officer said.

Russia Says West Plans No-Fly Zone in Syria to Aid Rebels

Russia received information that members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and some Persian Gulf countries are preparing military intervention in Syria, the head of the Russian Security Council said.

Turkey, a NATO member, may play a key role, Nikolai Patrushev, who used to head the country’s intelligence agency, the Federal Security Service, told Interfax in comments confirmed by his office. The U.S. and Turkey are working on a possible no-fly zone to protect Syrian rebels, Patrushev said.

“We are receiving information that NATO members and some Persian Gulf states, working under the ‘Libyan scenario’, intend to move from indirect intervention in Syria to direct military intervention,” the Russian security chief said.

Russia has warned that Israel is pushing for war with Iran.

"There is a likelihood of military escalation of the conflict, towards which Israel is pushing the Americans," Kremlin Security Council head Nikolai Patrushev was quoted as telling Russia's Interfax news agency, AFP reports.

Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Gannady Gatilov said that such escalation would be seen as direct intervention.

"Additional sanctions against Iran, as well as potentially any military strikes against it, will unquestionably be perceived by the international community as an attempt at changing the regime in Iran," Mr Gatilov said.

i think a very big threat is the fact that if there is no oil from iran,no oil from nigeria, and south america is siding with ahminijad(more big oil producers),we could well see a global catastrophe as in no oil,no nothing.pure chaos.oil is the blood on which our society survives!!
