PRAYER REQUEST.......

Thank you my friend! I am praying for you as well! Depression is an awful thing and it touches so many of us that speak of it and even more that don't! I'm not sure which is worse, the depression or anxiety, I am struggling with both too :/

I am trying my hardest to come out of my little cocoon I built around me to isolate myself, it's been hard, the feelings of depression can be so rough. You are right, GLP can be a weird place but i've been here almost a year and have made some AMAZING friends who I cannot imagine going through this without! God brought us together under the guise of GLP and I am just so thankful for the friendships i've made here. One thing i've learned during the year i've been here is that if you treat others with kindness it comes back ten fold. Sure, there are lots of shills and trolls but for the most part, those people and I don't seem to cross paths very often, maybe it's because i always try to love everyone here I come in contact with the way I imagine the Lord would want me to, IDK. But yes, you are right, GLP can def be a weird place! It is also a place I am proud to be a member of though and a place that has pulled together for me on this journey! The strength and friendships i've gained from this weird place are invaluable blessings <3

Trixie, I am so sorry you've had to go through this! You have really been put through the wringer! You have such a loving spirit and you are such a giving person. I've seen how you've responded to others who needed prayers, like Koffee's nephew and many others. You are truly a sweet person and I pray that Jesus wraps his arms about you, and heals you, and I pray that God's many blessings rain down on you and your family!

Get better FAST!

I know what your going through my husband has had two back surgeries so far. My prayers are with you don't forget to take stool softner with laxitives. With the pain meds your taking it slows down your bowels. Take care.

I wish I could give you a real one of these but I guess it will have to be a virtual one. Besides, I don't think you'd appreciate a bear hug right now! OUCH! When I watched your video, the main thought that kept going through my mind was, "I wish I could give her a hug!" Anyway I hope you get a good nights sleep tonight! Don't stay on the computer to late. You need your rest and plenty of shut eye! Don't make me come down there! LOL! Good night and sleep tight, friend!

Don't give up that you never give up and never accept that you will have to live with chronic pain. Your young and there is no excuse why the surgeons can't get it right.

My sister who is now 65 went through several spinal operations over almost a decade before they got it right. The day after the last surgery she felt so much better that the surgeon released her two days early. She also ended up going straight home rather than to a rehab facility. It's been several months since her surgery and she has regained almost all of her mobility and no longer uses the walker or cane. Her husband now has to constantly remind her that the surgeon still wants her to use the back brace when she works outdoors.
Like in all professions there are a lot of crappy Orthopedic surgeons out there that are bought and paid for by the AMA. You need to research the best procedure for your condition. Then find a surgeon that concentrates in that area.
I myself needed two cervical discs replaced. I spent several months researching the various procedures. Ended up paying for it my self and having it done in Spain. They operated at 7:30 pm and I was released from the hospital the next day. Pain free, I removed the neck brace as soon as I walked out the hospital door and went sight seeing. In fact the only medication they gave me or even needed immediately after surgery was Ibuprofen.
Most important, never give in to your depression. It robs you of the clarity that you might need to make the right choices. While your beliefs are important, Don't let them make the decisions for you. If there is a God, He or she is depending on you to take charge. Only then should you let your faith kick in.

I used to work for many hours, often an enormous amount of overtime, and long for the dawn that meant I could go home. That's when I understood what this Psalm truly meant. I pray for the dawn of your healing, and a bright new day of Hope.

OP, i was touched by your story. I can empathize with your pain. Trust in God no matter what you do. Remember something, there is an afterlife, this is a temporary world. God loves you beyond words. My prayers and love is with you.

I'm going through some tough times right now as well...I've felt the power of God so strongly, it completely changed my world. I pray that you feel the power right now.
