volcanic projectile

look at the hunk of rock on cnn's pic
the rock stuck in the hull looks like a big lava rock
(at the very front of the gash)

(IMHO) obviously volcanic
people previously were trying to put together a pic (not literally) of an incident based upon subsea volcano activity
