for fucks sakes people! It is NOT the radiation. My brother in law works at a nuclear power plant up here in Canada. It is IMPOSSIBLE for radiation to travel through air this far from Japan to North America. Radiation breaks up by halves every so often so by the time it would reach the States or Canada..it will be all but dispersed.

PLEASE stop whining and crying about some radiation from a country that is across the ocean, it does not affect us in the least.

I don't think I would stress the word impossible. Yes, some radionuclides have short half lives, others do not. Under normal operations I doubt it would be a problem....BUT, and BIG BUT at that, these reactors were blown to hell. There is NO prior history to base data on so neither you, nor your brother in law, can possibly tell us what the affects are.
