It really makes you wonder where the remains went? Also, another thing that sticks out at me while reading accounts in old newspapers of giant skeletons with "double rows of teeth"...uhm what the hell is that? Sure sounds different to the human race to me.

It just goes to show how little we truly know about our world and those who came before us. Maybe there were much more diverse populations of hominids and then we (modern day humans) had a population growth and obliterated the others?

What I can't wrap my head around is how all of these giant skeletons were found much earlier in American History and how we don't read about them being dug up today by normal people who discover them...Maybe they all had very distinct headstones and early scientists were able to locate the majority of them? I just don't see how the discoveries could cease to happen in modern times now that pretty much everyone carries around a camera phone with them everywhere on their cell phone. That is the part that bugs me, how we just stopped finding these things.
