Re: Cherokee Indians (Jewish Heritage) thrown off there land as well...Trail of Tears*
The Trail of Tears is a name given to the forced relocation and movement of Native American nations from southeastern parts of the United States following the Indian Removal Act of 1830.

The removal included many members of the Cherokee, Muscogee (Creek), Seminole, Chickasaw, and Choctaw nations, among others in the United States, from their homelands to Indian Territory (eastern sections of the present-day state of Oklahoma). The phrase originated from a description of the removal of the Choctaw Nation in 1831.[1]

Many Native Americans suffered from exposure, disease and starvation en route to their destinations. Many died, including 4,000 of the 15,000 relocated Cherokee.[2]

In 1831, the Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Muscogee-Creek, and Seminole (sometimes collectively referred to as the Five Civilized Tribes) were living as autonomous nations in what would be called the American Deep South.

The process of cultural transformation (proposed by George Washington and Henry Knox) was gaining momentum, especially among the Cherokee and Choctaw.[3] Andrew Jackson continued and renewed the political and military effort for the removal of the Native Americans from these lands with the passage of the Indian Removal Act of 1830.

Humankind has not woven the web of life.
We are but one thread within it.
Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.
All things are bound together.
All things connect.

Cherokee are NOT NOW NOR HAVE THEY EVER BEEN either a "Lost Tribe of Israel" or descended from a "Jewish Heritage".

Does that FACT prevent people from proclaiming otherwise either in an effort to progress an agenda, to profit off of other people's ignorance, or simply out of complete mental shortcoming? Unfortunately, no it doesn't as apparently there is a large enough pool of the gullible and of those easily separated from their money willing to believe anything.

As a card carrying member of the Cherokee Nation, having lived amongst them as well as many, many other varioius tribes here in Oklahoma though, it is more than a damned bit irritating to see so many idiots try to latch onto and invent new histories, prophecies, customs, etc. either through sheer ignorance, personal delusions, mental weakness, or just plain greed.

The truth of the matter is, the ones who are guilty of this, just epitomize "crazy damned white people".

No offense.

Northup claims that the famous scholar Josephus wrote that there were escapees from Masada in which the spokesperson for the Northern Cherokee states that this is evidence that gives credence to this connection between the Cherokee Indians and the jewish people.

In addition to other startling claims, there is also the belief by the Northern Cherokee that a rock that was uncovered in Tennessee in 1889 that is named the Bat Creek Stone, proves a transatlantic connection to jewish people.

Northup believes that the scratched writings on the rock indicate that the stone is evidence of a first century Atlantic Crossing to America by these escaped jewish people that later became known as the Northern Cherokee Indians. The Northern Cherokee attempted to gain full legislative recognition in the State of Missouri in 1985 that was eventually vetoed by Governor John Ashcroft. Governor Ashcroft made the following statement concerning his decision to veto the recognition of the Northern Cherokee

I suppose you could ask, since people believe there was once life on Mars, did any Martians escape and cross space to what we know as America?

Northup believes that the scratched writings on the rock indicate that the stone is evidence of a first century Atlantic Crossing to America by these escaped jewish people that later became known as the Northern Cherokee Indians. The Northern Cherokee attempted to gain full legislative recognition in the State of Missouri in 1985 that was eventually vetoed by Governor John Ashcroft. Governor Ashcroft made the following statement concerning his decision to veto the recognition of the Northern Cherokee

As I said, FACTS be damned by some people when they have their own "beliefs", gathered in their own fertile minds or from the imaginations of others, whatever the motives may be.

This is NOT part of any recognized history nor storied heritage of The Cherokee Nation nor her people. Unfortunately, there are some crazy indians too though who apparently want to revise it to be.

Adding "no offense" to the end of your statement doesn't make you less offensive, racist

LOL!!!! Actually, that was added more to be facetious than anything else. That's why it was framed in quoation marks, to emphasize the fact that it was in a separate context.

I guess then you could ask, after the Masada did any people of Israel escape and cross the waters to what we know as America?

If the Cherokees were in the area of North Carolina and Missouri, where did they come from? Not the way of Mexico...

I guess you could ask anything you want; however, asking something proves nothing.

The Osage were Missouri and Kansas, where did they come from. The Sioux? The Algonquin? The Odawa?

I suppose you could ask, since people believe there was once life on Mars, did any Martians escape and cross space to what we know as America?

If the Apache were in the area of the Southwest Desert, where did they come from? Not the way of Quebec...

SO what I am saying is that it is not impossible for jewish people wo escaped the Masada and who were not made Slaves by the Romans to find a way across the Waters to America....

They already determined the language to be of a Paleo Hebrew dialect.

What you are saying is speculation and story, NOT history and NOT fact. To frame it otherwise is basically and fundamentally to lie. In your book, I believe that is still the sin of "bearing false witness".

Look at the Inscription on the STONE

Hebrew scholar and archaeologist Robert Stieglitz (1976) confirmed Gordon's reading of the longer word, and identifed the second letter of the shorter word as a qoph. Mertz (1964) herself had first proposed that the first letter is a (reversed) resh.

The main line would then read RQ , LYHWD[M], i.e. "Only for Judea," or "Only for the Judeans" if the broken letter is included.

In Paleo-Hebrew, words are required to be separated by a dot or short diagonal stroke serving as a word divider, rather than by a space as in English or modern Hebrew.

The short diagonal word divider used on the Bat Creek inscription is less common than the dot, but appears both in the Siloam inscription and the Qumran Paleo-Hebrew Leviticus scroll.
