So no going to the movies, no buying music in stores or online, no netflix, no buying movies, etc for a solid month.

Would people get behind this?

And if the 1 month boycott didn't get their attention, then have another for 6 months, then 1 year, etc until OUR money gets a chance to speak.

Lots of people quit going to movies altogether.

Most are crummy remakes anyway or special effects with no plot an wooden acting.

Same with TV.

Life is too short to waste absorbed in either.

Sure it would work. I think most people stopped going to the movies years ago. Something about all the death and alien propaganda, along with vampires and other types of programming. Music has turned into garbage except for the songs you never hear on the radio.

I wish you luck. I must have felt what you want to do, simply because I got away from the noise years ago.

Ok, that's great, but then why post here about it? This post is about flexing the American citizen's economic muscle. If you already abstain, then I don't see how this concerns you at all...

Well of course, anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Or as in this case wallet, which shouldn't be much of a problem since most people are broke and lack of quality movies.

I honestly wasn't trying to be a dick, just making a point. It seems like you just wanted to brag about abstaining from entertainment. I don't have a problem with abstaining, but it really seems totally irrelevant to my post.
