[link to hainanwel.com] omg... thats outrageous... almost as bad as theweatherspace.com's explanation of whats going on with coronal mass ejection! For the record... There was a Long Duration Event - an M3.2 Solar Flare on the 19th. The affects of this have already reached us - in fact - they were here within 8 minutes time. During the Long Duration Event, a Coronal Mass Ejection occurred... A Coronal Mass Ejection is an burst of solar wind and plasma being hurled into space. The affects of which are way different than a solar flare and severity is not calculated by using C, M, or X. The Coronal Mass Ejection is set to hit Earth tonight(EST), if it doesn't go north of the planet. |
