Votes from 8 Precincts in Iowa caucus MISSING

Is this some corrupt bullshit or what? The average precinct has about 1000 registered voters and nowhere near that number votes in a caucus. Those votes are easy to count and can be done in an hour. They sort the ballots by name voted for, count them and recount them and recount them and that's it.

If 8 precincts are missing then the entire state caucus and the GOP establishment that ran it is CORRUPT.

I would bet that Ron Paul actually came in FIRST in Iowa. Like jerkwad Karl Rove said, there was a "gentlemens agreement". Riiiight.

The precinct chair and precinct secretary were both to sign the results verified by witnesses on caucus night. But results for some precincts came in on pieces of paper other than the official forms. Many more had only one signature, or the wrong signature (say, from a county chair). Another 18 documents had no signatures at all.

All were accepted, party officials said.

“Some are technically perfect in every way, and some are in a gray area, but we erred on the side of inclusion,” Strawn said. “If the campaigns want to make it an issue, they can, but I want to best reflect how Iowans voted on the night of Jan. 3.”

Missing votes is not good, but ya know, there are 49 other states and most of us won't even get to vote for most of the candidates because they are dropping like flies. It seriously pisses me off that I won't get to vote for any primary candidate until March when the GOP will have ensured we have no-one left that would want to vote for. Even if my vote is counted it wont matter because it will be for someone against Obama instead of for someone I agree with and at least half way trust not to double cross me.

all iowans should demand justice from the iowa caucuses. redo the entire vote if necessary to account for the whopping 8 precincts whose votes were "missing"

I feel ya on this. My state is part of super Tuesday. Most candidates will spend very little time here if at all. I sometimes wonder if it wouldn't be more fair if they changed it up every 4 years. Instead of it always being IA. Why not let AZ or TN or some other state get a chance to have all the candidates campaign hot & heavy in their state and let their voices be heard first for a change.

This is the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA where every law abiding citizen is guarenteed the right to vote. Every vote should be counted correctly, and reported! An election should not be called until this process is complete!

And where did all the official documents go every one should be accounted for.
