Now, the second scene, when the scientists are underground in the copper mine, and one of the scientists show the images from the sattelites that monitor the Sun, and say something like: "- We just had this: the Sun unleashed its largest flare directed to Earth ever..." Guess what? In the real life, we just had one of the largest Earth-directed CME's in recent years... Nice "coincidence", uh? What's the next scene? "The neutrinos have mutated" ??  |

And after the solar flare scene, the scientist opens the "cap" of a recipient, and shows boiling water to the other scientists, and says that the neutrinos have mutated. In the real life, the Russian scientists are drilling very deep in the ice of Antarctica, and they will very soon remove the ice "cap" of Lake Vostok, and one of the two things bellow will happen: - They will discover that there is an underwater source of heat, of volcanic origin, making the water to boil close to this source OR - The water from Lake Vostok will show "shocking" scientific evidences about neutrinos, or about radioactive decay, or something like that... |

Same in real life. The announcement that the Russians are going "very deep in the ice" happened before the solar flare. After the solar flare, the "cap" of Lake Vostok will be removed, and either we will be told about boiling water from volcanic origin, OR, about a shocking scientific discovery involving the water of the lake and atomic particles. |
