How Cats Control You with a Parasite - Toxoplasmosis and Its Effects

i don't trust non-cat people....
or people who consume aspartame.

I have heard from another source that up to 50% of the population are infected with this parasite. Throughout my life, I have owned oh-so-many wonderful kittehs, so I am sure I contracted the parasite. No symptoms, but that doesn't mean much of anything with this one.

Currently I have a few kittehs. Three indoor kitties and then there are three outdoor kitties that belong to neighbors, but that I feed. I gladly serve them all and ask for nothing more than to further oblige them with a pet, brush, or ear rub.

I just cannot stand to see a hungry kitty, I must feed them. Or a dusty kitty from rolling around outside in the pollen. I must brush them! Or a kitteh with an itchy ear. I must scritch them!

One of the outdoor cats I take care of has one bad eye that is clearly blind. She also had a broken tooth, and after speaking to the owners I discovered she was LONG overdo for her kitty shots and they weren't planning on taking her to the vet ever again. They just didn't, and don't, give a damn.

So needless to say, I had to fix kitteh. I had to go without a lot of things that month to free up the hundreds of dollars that were spent examining her eye and making sure it wasn't infected or causing her pain or further damage, fixing her tooth, and making sure everything was healthy and nice and her shots were up to date.

I will take care of any and all kitties that need it even to my personal detriment.

My personal favorite example of nature filling silly niches is the tiny eco-system that exists in old books. The "book lice" eat the black letters, and other critters who also live between the pages survive by hunting the book lice.

And what came first?

The cat, or the parasite?

Does the cat exist for the parasite to travel?

Or vice versa???

i feed almost 40 cats a day at a few different locations and i make a difference in their lives.

You better feed birds and other wildlife. You could make a difference in THEIR lifes. Cats are an invasive species and by feeding them, you harm nature and wildlife. Catch them and have them spayed and neutered. That would be a good thing to do.

I gotta say that I don't buy this at all. Besides, any pet that makes turds bigger than your own belongs in a zoo, not your backyard.

the parasite is in their urine and crap..keep your face out of the litter box.you are not eating their shit right,so chances are you wont be infected.if you feel you are go see a doctor for tests..them cats are taking over the world i tell ya evil little furballs

Lately, I've been having submandibular lymph node swelling, headaches, and body aches, accompanied by the strong urge to acquire a pet cat.

Are you talking about a house that's got maybe some mould in it that you're not aware of, and it's making you sick??

Yep, I have heard of that. Maybe you should have your house checked for moulds and maybe have your water tested.

I've also been taking a lot of vitamin B supplements for the past several months.

Alligators and Crocks are afraid of cats (they are natural enemies). It is believed by some that cats were protection for the Egyptians from Nile Crocks.

Also, the Jaguar holds a high place in Aztec beliefs. Maybe Cats were brought here to protect people from Reptilians races?

Think about it, the Aztecs liked the Jaguar and have many reptilian beliefs as well, as do the Egyptians with Crocks.

Maybe the parasite was a weapon used by the Reptilians to control people after cats were used against the Reptilians?

Hmmm....

BTW, there are some really cool videos of tigers killing HUGE crocks in the wild, also of normal domestic cats running off big alligators in the southern states on the WEB.

i live in a townhome complex. the management here run this place like a Gestapo concentration camp. the buildings have all kinds of health issues, i suspect. i have 7 months and then we can move. i think mold is the main issue. also something going on with the furnace. we have this black dusty soot forming everywhere like every day.

but, a parasite also makes sense.
i dunno...

so get a cat already.. they're awesome!
