Records are purged for long guns after 10 days. Records on handguns stay 25 years + I believe. This will change in two years in California though. 80million estimated gun owners in the country 200+ million guns estimated in the country probibly a lot more. Not to mention C&R weapons have no paperwork trail. Care to elaborate?
