Getting on the ballot in his HOME state might have been a good idea.

Funny how the exit polling showed Ron Paul winning but he comes in last place? A state that Newt had to cancel appearances because of low attendance and Ron Paul had overflowing crowds?

Oh well if RP did really lose which I doubt then we will get what we deserve. A WW111 and crashed economy. When people are starving and locked up in FEMA camps just remember you asked for it.

It's hard to say.

There is a HUGE voting block that is passive. They just make a simple decision at home and say, "Ok, I'll go with Newt."

They're not motivated. Ron Paul supporters or anyone attending his events are the people who are curious and active.

It could be true that the R's may feel that Newt is the top clown in that circus of a primary. Realistically though if Newt wins the nomination it will chase the moderates (the silent, complacent majority in the USA) straight to Ungawa. Notice how MSNBC is starting to play Newt up a little here and there? They are slobbering all over themselves because they know that Newt scares the fuck out of moderates. Newt is throwing the keys to Ungawa for another 4. Guess thats been the plan all along. R's should have put up some better candidates if they really wanted to win. It's a fucking charade as far as I'm concerned.

But his positions are VERY moderate. He has a LOT in common with Obama. He sat on the couch with Nancy Pelosi. He's a big NWO guy, loves the war on terror, loves the creeping surveillance society, loves the curbs to freedom and has talked extensively about this.

Come general election, he would shift mightily to the middle.

He's not an idiot. He knows what he's doing. His subtle racist rhetoric was put to use in S.C.

He will sink his own ship if given enough rein!He is brilliant but is like a loose canon..... More and more so as his confidence level increases!

If he can sit on the couch with Nancy Pelosi and talk about carbon taxes and global warming, and STILL win South Carolina, you underestimate him.
