It's OK, most the upper parts of the state are still Apache Res... But Apache's are fun people when you get them drunk. But you have to hurry before noon, or they will already be there, and not happy because YOU didn't buy the booze...

If you spend your summers outside of the Phoenix area it is quite pleasant. Flagstaff, Showlow, Prescott etc.
Winters in Phoenix are wonderful. Lots of things to do.
We sold our home and live in an RV during the winter in Phoenix and then we stay up north in the Flagstaff area, or travel through Montana, Wyoming and Colorado. I enjoy the feeling of being free and I vowel never to pull another weed again. We started a home business and can work anywhere.

No joke. When I was 15 I went out there to setup a double wide for a preacher. Northern in Navajo country. It was quite sad to see them drunk before noon. But look at the life they were forced into.?.

I don't know where your from, but I'ts got to be better than Arizona. Thee Worst State I've ever lived in. Im from the north-west originaly, and can't wait to get the hell out of this shit hole state. The Phoenix area is a nightmare, with only a few elete locations to live safely (Scottsdale). And even then it's far over priced and will turn you into evething that's wrong with reality telivision personas. Humanity has lost it's sence of compassion and decentcy here. Even the couple "Cool" cities you could choose to live in (Flagstaff, or Sedona,.......and that's it,.....Seriously!) are so loaded down with rediculose, Bro-y, hipster-doofus, jackass, vibeing locals,........you'd never want to stay. I've been exposed to more crime, physical violence, and road-rage here than all other locations in my past combined. If your white, your not welcome, and the message will be delivered repeatedly. I hope The Powers That Be have a nuke or biological weapons with Arizona's name on it.

I've lived here for twenty years, and will never go back east. Family friendly, business friendly, gun friendly, and lots of strong women in Arizona history. Camping, hiking, biking, shooting, golf, antique cars, ballet, music of all kinds, great Yetahe art . . . what more could you want?

Arizona isn't all hot ass desert.. there are 4 season mountain communities in Eastern and Northern Arizona - yes, snow skiing in Arizona, tall ponderosa pines and beautiful white bark aspen trees

Catalina Foothills are gorgeous......there is a lot beauty south too.

I agree entirely with Bafoon. I am also from the Northwest and counting the days until I can get the hell out of Phoenix. We live as far North as you can get to try to distance ourselves from the crime and degraded humanity that is Phoenix. Don't ever move: South, West, or Central. Your only hope is Scottsdale or far North. Don't do it!
