Please unpin this garbage thread. OPs picture is the exact same as the one from this link. What a deliberate fraud. Waste of everyone's time.

Has anyone looked at the darkest spot on the blue object, you can see right through it, doesn't look legitimate too.

Guys. This is not photo shopped. As I said you guys the coordinates are POSTED IN THE PICTURES.

As in this is VERIFIABLE.

That was the POINT of the thread to have someone VERIFY this.

I will post more pictures and information when it comes in.

So stop with your BS flags as there IS a way to prove this.

This isn't a fraud. This photograph is from my friends telescope. Thanks for finding an article about it though mystery SOLVED. I'll notify him of the findings. Thank you.

Pictures are here:

Pictures were taken a few minutes to a few hours apart by a friend of mine in Norway.

Check the coordinates in the photo to find this in your own telescope. He has this thing tracked and will continue to send me photos occasionally.

Anyone know what this is? Can anyone else please find this in their telescopes and post photos thanks!

For science.

Re: Calling Astronomers to check anomoly
There is an app for your computer that is called Stellarium, it's a free download. We have it on our computers in my Astronomy class. Type in the coordinates and see if anything comes up. Everything should be charted there. I don't have it on mine at home.
It looks like a nebula to me, but it also looks a bit unnatural as if it's been photoshopped or enhanced.

Re: Calling Astronomers to check anomoly
Google G1.9 supernova. You'll find that picture.

Starviewer claims it's the Brown dwarf which Planet X orbits. They say every 26,000 years it comes close to the solar system.

Of course starviewer has been wrong so far.

Re: Calling Astronomers to check anomoly
looks likes 6 objects orbiting it?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2159872

He blurred out the back ground stars so the fore ground is in better focus.

Probably just stars.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6750590

NO Way ! !
All objects are at infinity focus. There is no 'foreground' and 'background' focusing of space objects. If the stars are out of focus, so would the anomaly.
I call BS

You are so full of shit! Infinity focus? What a dumbass you are. You think all stars are the same distance away from us? They are all out there painted on the screen at infinity distance? Get an education or shut the f**k up. My goodness.

No, it's not from your friend's telescope. It's a known professional image and a screen shot of microsoft wwt. It's also a composite of x-ray and radio telescope data, so unless your friend has an x-ray satellite, he's full of shit:

Check the coordinates in the photo to find this in your own telescope.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6750590

The coordinates in the "photo" are the coordinates from the observers location - not from the observed object.

And why are the coordinates from the observers location set to somewhere near Seattle when the "photo" was taken in Norway?

OP, you are a Schmock.
