Is seeing a bald eagle a sign of good luck?

I just saw one on my way and back from seeing my doctor. I am asking this because last night I prayed to God for a sign.

I like in an area where they aren't common, but they have been known to be around once in a blue moon.

Am I being too sentimental thinking this was the sign from God? I've lived in this area for 24 years, and this is the first time I've seen a eagle in this area. I have seen others take picture of them from the area. It's just kind of cool.
