Not so sure this could be a good thing. First off if the kid doesn't want to be at school he/she could cause problems in class that keep those who want to learn from doing so. Also in a small way it's seems no different then locking them up behind bars.

I finished high school early. I checked out and went to work full time for six months before higher education classes started at the end of Aug. Under this proposal would I have still been able to do this? Or would I be stuck sitting in a classroom while waiting for graduation day at the end of May?
