Breaking: Pelosi Admits She Lied About Having Dirt on Newt Gingrich

Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s office on Wednesday said the minority leader doesn’t have any dirt on Newt Gingrich.

Pelosi has suggested in two interviews that she knows something that could prevent Gingrich from becoming president, but her office said the California Democrat doesn’t have any secrets about Gingrich, who has shot to the top of national Republican polls after winning the South Carolina primary.

"The 'something' Leader Pelosi knows is that Newt Gingrich will not be President of the United States. She made that clear last night," Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill said in a statement.

"Leader Pelosi previously made a reference to the extensive amount of information that is in the public record, including the comprehensive committee report with which the public may not be fully aware,” Hammill said.
Pelosi made headlines on Tuesday when she told CNN Gingrich would not be president, and that “there’s something I know.”

Its obvious Pelosi wouldn't have made that comment twice without having the goods. I dislike her too but that doesn't make her a third grader. Common sense dictates Democratic Operatives will release the information at a more appropriate time. After all, if she has damaging information, why release it now? Why not let the Republicans tear each other apart, elect Gingrich and then drop the hammer?

Makes perfect sense to me. We aren't privy to that information and how damaging it may be to Newt. But we know one thing. This man has lots and lots of personal problems. Do we really want to elect him and risk his character on the Republican ticket? Doing so could give Obama that advantage he needs.

I wish that were true... But just about everyone I know here in Texas say they'd rather reelect Obama before they'd ever vote for for Newt.. And that's saying a lot.

Though, in a true election between Obama and Newt, I'd rather vote for my left shoe before any of those assholes step foot into the White House.. Newt has way too many ethics violations, and absolutely no family values -- and Obama has just about done the exact opposite of everything he said he'd do during his election campaign, so in my opinion, none of them deserve even getting elected to wipe the shit from my ass.
