Eric Cantor single-handedly blocked the majority-supported "Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge (STOCK) Act"
On December 7, 2011, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor indefinitely postponed a scheduled markup of the legislation. The bill currently has 235 co-sponsors- 153 Democrats and 82 Republicans. A bill needs 218 votes for passage by the House of Representatives.

This bill had enough support and co-sponsors to PASS had it finished going through the process and gone to voting, but Eric Cantor prevented any voting to occur by indefinitely postponing it.

Doesn't really matter. Even if it were passed, they wouldn't do anything to anyone that is caught. They are all above the law.

^ Also true ^

Interesting window into Cantor's soul, though.
I knew there was something wrong with him when he accepted the Obama scam deal on the debt limit.

Eric Cantor is possibly the biggest douchebag in Congress.

And that is a difficult title to attain.

again, we have another of those bills that is not what it seems or won't do anything to stop them, seeing as the democraps are just as guilty, if not more so , than the repukes of becoming rich from insider trading, (pelosi, feinstein, boxer and reid come to mind as the worst offenders.) the overwhelming support by democraps should be a red flag in this world of right is left, up is down, etc.when are you people going to wake up?

Plus he was the one who booed the very suggestion of such a bill during the State of the Union address.
