It has a slightly poisonous after taste to it. But I will occasionally pick up a Mexican made coke, pepsi, or other sodas and drink them because they are still real. And they are in glass bottles. However, while they've lost their licensing with Dr.Pepper, they are fighting back by creating their own brand. [link to blogs.dallasobserver.com] Dr.Pepper will still be releasing limited batches of the sugar only version, but you won't find it widely available. As for mexican sodas, they rock. In fact, the mexican owned sodas are excellent as well. My only complaint is that the best mexican soda isn't imported to the US, Joya. Their grapefruit soda is perfection, and the apple is excellent as well.
