It has a slightly poisonous after taste to it. Quoting: samanthasunflower But I will occasionally pick up a Mexican made coke, pepsi, or other sodas and drink them because they are still real. And they are in glass bottles. I love glass bottles. Same here. I love glass so much, I work for a glass manufacturing company, in fact the largest in the world! Long live Glass!!! |

All of the Mexican stuff tastes completely different, not just the Coke. And the LORD spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it. I am an evil giraffe, and I shall eat more leaves from this tree than perhaps I should, so that other giraffes may die. |

Our coke is much much better. Quoting: teraustralis Dude, you would fucking HATE American Pepsi then. Complete shit. Quoting: simultaneous_final Yes! I bought it once..my god I almost puked. The most horrid crap I've tasted in a long time. Real sugar and glass bottle is the only way to go. Quoting: Mostly Normal It's like someone sent a Coke to me from 1960 from their time machine. Yum! The better Coke Cola, is probably pre 1929, that would of been better, cause it had the full coca leave in it, with the cocaine (small amount). Its the FDA that screws everything up. Cocaine in small amounts is ok and healthy, as the Russians have used it to fight fatigue for cosmonauts. More lies from our Government, that thinks they got everything is correct for the American Sheeple. |

Or is it only possible if you live in one of the border states? Any Mexican meat market or the Hispanic food section of your local supermarket should have it. It is so good, it's addicting! None of that high fructose corn syrup crap. Quoting: Deanster I haven't enjoyed Coca Cola in years....used to like it...just thought my taste had changed.. maybe they do make it differently than they used to. Saw some "Mexican" Coca Cola in Costco...figured the water the made it with was filthy. |

However, while they've lost their licensing with Dr.Pepper, they are fighting back by creating their own brand. [link to blogs.dallasobserver.com] Dr.Pepper will still be releasing limited batches of the sugar only version, but you won't find it widely available. As for mexican sodas, they rock. In fact, the mexican owned sodas are excellent as well. My only complaint is that the best mexican soda isn't imported to the US, Joya. Their grapefruit soda is perfection, and the apple is excellent as well. |
