We live in a part of the country with forest and rolling hills and very small family farms (geological land formations do not allow for massive corporations and buyouts)... that is where the huge corporations have not and will not likely penetrate.... enclaves of Amish, Mennonite, Christian, Mormon and other God fearing people living off the land and helping one another.

Anywhere the mega huge farms depending on Federal money and US dept. of Agriculture loans and GMO seed have sold their corporate souls in a sense...

I think some are waking up. They were chemtrailing here in ABQ yesterday, with giant x's across the city and moutnains all day. The water here in ABQ you drink and shower in and cook with are loaded with chlorine. I took a common pool tester, because i grew up with a pool in my back yard and was always testing it, because if it was too high it would burn your eyes after 15 minutes of swimming. So i take the pool tester and go to the sink here in ABQ. and what comes out of the kitchen sink is just unacceptible to swim in but luterall of the scale of the tester!

So if everyones waiting for martial law? Remember martial law is last fourth down, in the final minutes of the fourth quarter. look around the world and clearlyu see their global efforts, and it isnt just america pulling te strings.

ive heard stories that farmers have been pursued by monsanto because gmo seeds have somehow began growing on farms where the farmer does not even buy their seed. the argument being their seeds are patent protected, no matter what...

Eating organic can sometimes get some of the GMO out of your pantry. It is really unfortunate that GMO foods are not requited to be labeled to identify them as such.

I didn't notice whether anyone else posted this recent news story about negative affects of GMO on farm animals. I've seen others like it before.

This is a bit old.

They ARE dying. Check the facts. The crops are failing. They need too much water, (twice as much as "normal crops) which they don't have. They cost too much and they don't produce. The insects and weeds are becoming resistant to the herbicide/pesticide(s) and because you can't grow anything else in the soil after it's been bombed with their chemicals they're stuck with fields of dead cotton and food.

Whole crops are failing because of faulty seeds, and there's nothing they can do to save them because of the tainted soil.

If you think it's safe, I'll buy you and your family dinner at the restaurant of your choice if you'll all drink a glass of Roundup after desert. ANYWHERE you want. It's on me. I'll bring the cocktails too, if you let me film it. Think about it. You and your family get a free gourmet meal and all you have to do is drink a glass of your safe pesticide. Which is, by the way, a close relative of agent orange.

A couple of years ago the cotton farmers in India burned their crops in protest. It seems the GMO seed plants did not produce nearly as much as the regular seeds.

Monsanto has been voted the most hated company in the world.

They also developed aspartame it was suppose to be a rat poison.

Just when we thought that buying “Organic” was safe, we run headlong into the deliberate poisoning of our organic food supply by the FDA in collusion with none other than the folks who brought us Aspartame. NutraSweet, a former Monsanto asset, has developed a new and improved version of this neurotoxin called Neotame.

Neotame has similar structure to aspartame — except that, from it’s structure, appears to be even more toxic than aspartame. This potential increase in toxicity will make up for the fact that less will be used in diet drinks. But surely, this product would be labeled! NOT SO!!! For this little gem, no labeling required. And it is even included in USDA Certified Organic food.

The food labeling requirements required for aspartame have now been dropped for Neotame, and no one is clear why this was allowed to happen. Neotame has been ruled acceptable, and without being included on the list of ingredients, for:

-USDA Certified Organic food items.
-Certified Kosher products with the official letter k inside the circle on labels. (Janet Hull)

Let me make this perfectly clear. Neotame does not have to be included in ANY list of ingredients! So, if you buy processed food, whether USDA Certified Organic or not, that food most likely will contain Neotame because it is cost-effective, and since no one knows it is there, there is no public backlash similar to what is happening with Aspartame. A win/win situation!

But that’s not all. Just love chowing down on that delicious steak? Well, that cow most likely will have been fed with feed containing…..you guessed it…..Neotame! A product called “Sweetos,” which is actually composed of Neotame, is being substituted for molasses in animal feed...
