Prayer Request for Troubled Waters...Update 2/2/12

I just saw this thread: adding my prayers to those of everyone else.

Prayers for TW sucessful surgery and speedy recovery. I had that surgery and its not that bad after the second day.

Good Evening everyone,

I just got off the phone with TW's wife--TW is in ICU.

According to his surgeon--as far as gallbladder's go, his was as bad as it gets--it was severely abscessed.

His procedure should have been Laparoscopic gallbladder surgery but became open surgery which required a large incision and more recovery time.

He is in ICU for oxygen as result of his reaction to the anesthesia.

I was told he will probably be in the hospital for another 3 days.

Please continue to pray for him and thank you, again.

I have to leave but will be back shortly.

I feel so bad that TW is in ICU! I've been praying for him off and on today. I thought he would have been home by now resting. I'm going to have to pray alot more! TW is such a giving person, I hate to see him go through this! We need to pray for his wife and family too, I'm sure they're worried sick!

Yes, I'm glad his wife answered his cell phone, otherwise, I wouldn't have known he was in ICU.

I asked her if she would like prayer, too. She said the same as TW--"I'll take all the prayers I can get". She does have her hands full with their grandson, pets, work and TW's malady.

So, yes, please pray for her and their grandson. She did mention that their grandson is sick with some type of virus.

Good Evening All,

I have a prayer request for my friend, TW.

He goes in for surgery tomorrow to have his gallbladder removed.

He has been ill for sometime now, even had to be rushed to the hospital because he passed out a couple of times.

He's been in severe pain and was scheduled for surgery Monday, however, they changed it to tomorrow.

I asked him if he would like a prayer thread and he said "sure, I'll take all the prayers I can get".

With gallbladder surgery, you can be in and out of the hospital the same day.

His surgery is scheduled for 10:00 am EST.

Thank you so much for this thread, Koffee! TW and I were in regular phone conversations until recently when my phone coverage went on the blink but I do follow his "Room" thread very closely and love all of you here!

I am praying for TW, his wife and grandson that everything will return to their normal routine as soon as possible! That, for me, is the hardest part about sickness and recovery from surgery...how it screws up the normal everyday routines of living.

I pray for his most speedy recovery and comfort for his wife during this time. We want them both TOP NOTCH when that trumpet sounds!
