I really don't know, because they don't have to tell you WHY you were turned down. I've been turned down for lots of jobs, that's part of what is called "looking for work" and not "step out your door and a job will be waiting to fall into your lap". But when I was turned down I didn't sit around moping about it and looking for someone else to blame. I just got up the next morning, dressed up nicely, and hit the streets again in my search. Eventually I would find SOMETHING, even though it may not have been what I was really looking/hoping for. At least it paid the bills and kept us off Welfare. And no matter what the job, I was a loyal employee and gave a fair day's work for my paycheck, and was always valued by my employers.

For the record, I am a MENSAN (and to the MENSAN who used a comma before ellipses... LOL) and I take these results with a grain of salt. I read a statistic recently that said that Vancouver BC will be less than 50% Caucasian by 2015 and I wondered at what point do we become a minority?

The other main racial groups are Chinese and South Asian with a good helping of Philipinos.

The area I live in is about 50/50 Native/Caucasian with the Natives having a higher birth rate so we'll be the minority here pretty soon too.

Yes. And plenty of people who work 2 and 3 jobs, with their wives working part time because they are forced to live in a neighborhood they can barely afford so their children can go to a safe school.
