I can choose to be an astronaut, that does not make me one.
Quoting: Stocking Eats Cake You won't become an astronaut unless you chose to be one. Most people don't run around raping everyone; there is a choice involved in deciding who you'll sleep with. There are a lot of different factors to attraction and I don't see why exerting choice is a problem. There not being a choice is what is offensive. Look at the western reaction to arranged marriage.
