History is filled with accounts of Dinosaurs (Dragons) walking the earth with man

1. Addressed that .
2.Please don't use medieval tales of dragons F.F.S.

They are not midevil tales. Just about every culture throughout the world has accounts of them. Watch the videos.

I know that the Discovery Channel or your local schools tell you differently but personally I think it's pretty fucking stupid to believe someone who says they can date bones back 20 million years. Now that seems like a fairy tale.

I think dinosaurs didn't die out as long ago as they say. Their are living dinosaurs even today. There are very old pictures of women with a dinosaur with collar and leash.

Also, dinosaur bones have been found on top of the ground as well as under the ground. under the ground could have been from earth changes or earth quakes. Diseases or droughts could have caused die offs, still happens, in fact it is happening right now with animals and other creatures.

The one little dinosaur I wish had not lived so well is the

I believe god created dinosaurs. As for the thing about them living millions of years ago.. i dont believe. I believe the earth is only around 6k years old. As for how they died out i believe Noah's flood is responsible for many of the fossils they find today.
 Quoting: Saltynoodle

Noah's flood... the same one that wiped out all animals, except for the pairs that were on Noah's Ark, that flood?

What about all the sea dwelling dinosaurs that should still be around? What about fish? What about land animals that could swim? What about insects that can't? What about the fact that most of those animals would have eaten one another, or Noah? What about the fact that it would be impossible for two of each animal to fit on a boat the size of the ark? What about the fact that some creatures can't genetically mate with their own relatives?

Seriously?

Re: Christians and Dinosaurs... Get in here
"Dragons" of old folklore were actually dinosaurs living along side humans. There's a great book Dragons or Dinosaurs that details it well.

The fact that every ancient culture beleived in Dragons gives credence to their real existence. Especially given the fact that many of the stories were detailed accounts of their habitat (mostly swamp areas) their physical appearence (which closely matches the fossils) and even their process of reproduction (they layed eggs). Well respected historians like Marco Polo, and even Alexander the Great spoke of dragons in their real-life experiences.

Its also interesting that paintings and carvings that closely resemble dinosaurs are found all over the world. Moreover, native americans have extremely detailed legends of dinosaurs in their culture... the Thunderbird was in fact a real flying dinosaurs that leaved not more than 1,000 years ago.

I won't get into the absurdity of dinosaur fossil dating techniques... entirely based on radiometrics dating techniques that have proven false time and time again, in the face of tons of evidence of dinosaurs living with humans (footprints together, fossils together, human artifacts with dinosaur fossils, the intact blood-cell of a dinosaur recently found, carbon 14 being found in countly dinosaur fossils, ect. ect.)

It appears that most of the large dinosaurs died off in the flood, and the smaller ones died off over the next few thousand years. But there's at least one still living...
which has been sited by over 6,000 people... the lockness monster is a Pladeosaraus (excuse the spelling)

Anyway... I'm a Christian who loves to talk about Dinosaurs... its perfectly clear that dinosaurs lived with our ancestors, and its well documented in thier stories of dragons.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1631807

So, being the hardcore Christian that you are, you're going to source other cultures, civilizationss and belief systems, that according to Christians are false and against the Christian faith, as evidence for your faith? You can't have it both ways.

We know that it takes at least a certain number of years for particular rocks to form. When you can find bones and fossils that are encased in those rocks and minerals, and they date further back than a few thousand years, you don't need high-tech dating techniques. Give me sources for the time and time again that carbon dating has been proven false, WHEN the test has been done accurately. Prove to me that the results are false. I can prove to you many more times that it is accurate.

You don't have to believe in the same things that I do, but the sciences that Christians like to deny are the same sciences that are allowing them to live the lives of comfort that they do. You are on a computer, on the internet, because of science's understanding of the elements. You are driving a car because of science's understanding of how hydrocarbons and fossil fuels form, over millions of years. There is proof in many more ways than you would ever think about.

If the earth and all of creation is only 6,000 years old, how can we see galaxies that are millions of light years away? Nothing is moving faster than the speed of light. So God created all that billions of years before he created the earth?

The Bible is at best metaphorically describing ancient man's ideas. They are no better than the stories of any other culture. This one just happened to stick.

You're free to believe what you want, but you are obviously overlooking glaring holes in your logic. I think it's about time to evolve your idea of what God really is. He's surely more miraculous and powerful than the fairy tales you've been indoctrinated to believe. In my opinion, at least.

We're supposed to believe in a God that is guilty of everything he's asking us not to be? Killing, jealousy, greed, wrath, and many more...

Come on.. I'm not telling you to give up your faith in things, far from it.. but God is surely better than what that document says he is. I mean there is that whole council with Constantine getting to decide what he wanted in and out of the Bible, and we're supposed to believe it's divine?

Seriously, you can just look the other way on that?

Re: Christians and Dinosaurs... Get in here
Bel and the dragon Daniel 14

1 When King Astyages joined his ancestors, Cyrus of Persia succeeded him.

2 Daniel was very close to the king, who respected him more than any of his other friends.

3 Now, in Babylon there was an idol called Bel, to which twelve bushels of the finest flour, forty sheep and six measures of wine were offered every day.

4 The king venerated this idol and used to go and worship it every day. Daniel, however, worshipped his own God.

5 'Why do you not worship Bel?' the king asked Daniel. 'I do not worship idols made by human hand,' Daniel replied, 'I worship the living God who made heaven and earth and who is lord over all living creatures.'

6 'Do you not believe, then,' said the king, 'that Bel is a living god? Can you not see how much he eats and drinks each day?'

7 Daniel laughed. 'Your Majesty,' he said, 'do not be taken in; he is clay inside, and bronze outside, and has never eaten or drunk anything.'

8 This made the king angry; he summoned his priests, 'Tell me who eats all this food,' he said, 'or die. Prove to me that Bel really eats it, and I will have Daniel put to death for blaspheming him.'

9 Daniel said to the king, 'Let it be as you say.'

10 There were seventy of these priests, to say nothing of their wives and children. The king went to the temple of Bel, taking Daniel with him.

11 The priests of Bel said to him, 'We shall now go out, and you, Your Majesty, will lay out the meal and mix the wine and set it out. Then, lock the door and seal it with your personal seal. If, when you return in the morning, you do not find that everything has been eaten by Bel,let us be put to death; otherwise let Daniel, that slanderer!'

12 They were thinking -- hence their confidence -- of a secret entrance which they had made under the table, and by which they came in regularly and took the offerings away.

13 When the priests had gone and the king had set out the food for Bel,

14 Daniel made his servants bring ashes and spread them all over the temple floor, with no other witness than the king. They then left the building, shut the door and, sealing it with the king's seal, went away.

15 That night, as usual, the priests came with their wives and children; they ate and drank everything.

16 The king was up very early next morning, and Daniel with him.

17 'Daniel,' said the king, 'are the seals intact?' 'They are intact, Your Majesty,' he replied.

18 The king then opened the door and, taking one look at the table, exclaimed, 'You are great, O Bel! There is no deception in you!'

19 But Daniel laughed; and, restraining the king from going in any further, he said, 'Look at the floor and take note whose footmarks these are!'

20 'I can see the footmarks of men, of women and of children,' said the king,

21 and angrily ordered the priests to be arrested, with their wives and children. They then showed him the secret door through which they used to come and take what was on the table.

22 The king had them put to death and handed Bel over to Daniel who destroyed both the idol and its temple.

23 There was a great dragon which the Babylonians worshipped too.

24 The king said to Daniel, 'Are you going to tell me that this is made of bronze? Look, it is alive; it eats and drinks; you cannot deny that this is a living god; worship it, then.'

25 Daniel replied, 'I will worship the Lord my God; he is the living God. With your permission, Your Majesty, without using either sword or club, I shall kill this dragon.'

26 'You have my permission,' said the king.

27 Whereupon, Daniel took some pitch, some fat and some hair and boiled them up together, rolled the mixture into balls and fed them to the dragon; the dragon swallowed them and burst. Daniel said, 'Now look at the sort of thing you worship!'

28 The Babylonians were furious when they heard about this and rose against the king. 'The king has turned jewish,' they said, 'he has allowed Bel to be overthrown, and the dragon to be killed, and he has put the priests to death.'

29 So they went to the king and said, 'Hand Daniel over to us or else we shall kill you and your family.'

30 They pressed him so hard that the king found himself forced to hand Daniel over to them.

31 They threw Daniel into the lion pit, and there he stayed for six days.

32 In the pit were seven lions, which were given two human bodies and two sheep every day; but for this period they were not given anything, to make sure they would eat Daniel.

33 Now, the prophet Habakkuk was in Judaea: he had been making a stew and breaking up bread into a basket. He was on his way to the fields, taking this to the harvesters,

34 when the angel of the Lord spoke to him, 'Take the meal you are carrying to Babylon, and give it to Daniel in the lion pit.'

35 'Lord,' replied Habakkuk, 'I have not even seen Babylon and know nothing about this pit.'

36 The angel of the Lord took hold of his head and carried him off by the hair to Babylon where, with a great blast of his breath, he set Habakkuk down on the edge of the pit.

37 'Daniel, Daniel,' Habakkuk shouted, 'take the meal that God has sent you.'

38 And Daniel said, 'You have kept me in mind, O God; you have not deserted those who love you.'

39 Rising to his feet, he ate the meal, while the angel of God carried Habakkuk back in a moment to his own country.

40 On the seventh day, the king came to lament over Daniel; on reaching the pit he looked inside, and there sat Daniel.

41 'You are great, O Lord, God of Daniel,' he exclaimed, 'there is no god but you!'

42 He then had Daniel released from the pit and the plotters of Daniel's ruin thrown in instead, where they were instantly eaten before his eyes.

Dinosaurs are actually mentioned in the bible. Many think that Behemoths that are mentioned in the bible are likely Dinosaurs.

People may think your Zany talking about dinosaurs and fallen angels all the time anyway.

"Christians" is a pretty broad term considering all the many different denominations and variance's in belief's.
From Somebody who is Born Again & On fire for Jesus
or just raised as in a certain household but never actually studied a page of Bible or doctrine.
Or total cultists like The Roman Catholic Church: who only believe what they were told by a Priest.

That being Said I would say most Guess that the Dinosaurs were drowned in the Great Flood that Science Totally Ignores.

It is Rare to find Any dinosaur bones or Fossils above the ground, I don't think too many Christians would say they never existed but you would find some Christians who don't care how old the Earth is, the ones who studied their Bible generally agree it is somewhere around 6000 years of age.

Now Scientists say these Bones are Millions or Billions of Years old, but can they prove it?
Carbon dating is an inexact science and it teaches that the ground your dating has always been that way, well that is counter to the Chaotic event of the Flood in the Bible.

So you are back to who is right here God and His word the Bible or Man and his machine?

Lol - know the origins of YOUR belief system
1963 Congressional Record - 45 Steps to Communism
"Step 27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch."

Thankfully some Christians are immune to it because the gracious Lord alerts us.

OP, dismissing accounts of this Age's living and breathing dinosaurs is folly and does your argument no favours. Your mind has been blinded because you choose the lies of the world. And then that blinds you to evidence to the contrary. It's called a circle of blindness and only our God above will break it for you.

In part 2, chapter 40, Marco Polo reports :
""Leaving the city of Yachi, and traveling ten days in a westerly direction, you reach the province of Karazan, which is also the name of the chief city....Here are seen huge serpents, ten paces in length (about 30 feet), and ten spans (about 8 feet) girt of the body. At the fore part, near the head, they have two short legs, having three claws like those of a tiger, with eyes larger than a forepenny loaf (pane da quattro denari) and very glaring."

The jaws are wide enough to swallow a man, the teeth are large and sharp, and their whole appearance is so formidable, that neither man, nor any kind of animal can approach them without terror. Others are met with of a smaller size, being eight, six, or 5 paces long; and the following method is used for taking them. In the day-time, by reason of great heat, they lurk in caverns, from whence, at night, they issue to seek their food, and whatever beast they meet with and can lay hold of, whether tiger, wolf, or any other, they devour;"

I've noticed my Christian friends don't like to talk in depth or really at all about dinosaurs. I mean i'm a Christian myself and i'm open to learning about them... But they get real tense or try to change topic any time I bring it up. I mean there isn't really ever an appropriate time to talk about dinosaurs... But I just find it odd.

Non Christians, what do you notice when you mention the topic around Christians?

My favourite thing is to mention this fundamental contradiction and paradox - the bible states from darkness god decided to come forth to create all matter, light and life (doesn’t matter what order)..which actually (in reality) implies that it was Satan (the supposed lord of darkness) who existed first (in its realm of supposed darkness) ...and therefore it was actually god who rebelled (from this complete darkness) to create light and life, and so on and so forth LOL

Got to giggle, because this question things right at the very beginning. So maybe this god is the liar, the rebel and cheat, who egotistically wanted to create a universe of dumb and needy servants to bow down to his/her/its hierarchal will and control (hmmm...all sounds very predictable and human to me).

Anyway it doesn’t really matter what we beieve, cos lets face it, our human reality is full of delusional artifice and bullshit anyway.
