He does spend great portion of his time in crude sword play with trolls and shills. One cannot claim that there is no freedom to make antisemitic remarks on GLP, AA should note. And I am all for freedom of speech... until it becomes tyranny of the masses, but AA does not represent the masses ;) lol

But then at times there is reciprocal evidence that he knows these posters from his former workplace. Sock puppets perhaps? You've got to at least give him an "A" for effort if that is the case because he puts a lot of attention into it.

He speaks of astrophysical possibilities, which would sound outrageous to the uninformed, but if balanced by some things one has already heard from long before, there do seem to be some astrophysical possibilities, who knows when, from my limited point of view. Even if AA is a poser I can't completely disregard the basics of his premise. It does seem he is going out on a limb with the dates, but I guess that 2% miracles that nothing special will happen, are possible.

I think the topic is generally a good one, aside from what may appear to be some amount of egoistic drama from OP, all the while inflaming the shill tactic of blind emotionalism, a desire to feed fire with fire.

Any normal person can look at a few charts and know that the sun is acting up. Many GLPers do it every day.

A more probable conclusion is that the sun acting up recently was a good excuse to come here and stir the pot of AA's all-knowing-never-erring wisdom he claims to have.

Survival, IF the loss of magnetosphere occurs in our lifetime, could favor thicker roofs, more time indoors, and a more nocturnal lifestyle, and for many generations from the time of onset.

Those who die from excess exposure outdoors would be the Darwinian risk measurement devices for those who adopt a more sufficiently protected life-style.

Whether any of it is "good" or "bad" would vary, depending on the experience of the individual, as always.

OP is quite interesting but so angry he can't seem to pull him personal "theory" into a single focused theory.

He has some thoughts that are far more worthy of thought than some other "self taught physicists" that is for sure.

I am so thankful that he is quite wrong in many of his assumptions but some of his stuff is of valid concern.

I don't disagree that personality shouldn't be the 'only' reason for dismissing someone's credibility. However, AA has done a severe dis-service to his 'allegedly' benevolent message of impending Doom. He is: 1) easily distracted off topic by insignificant replies, 2) expresses a level of venomous retorts (to even the most mild critiscm) that reak of true disdain for (some) fellow HUMANS, 3) makes outlandishly grand claims of his 'scientific' contributions without serious substantiation, 4) similiarly accuses others of plaguerizing these contributions without equivlant support, 5) continually espouses and reminds others (mainly those who disagree or require more evidence) of his monsterous IQ without more than his often mispelled posts, 6) claims to be a foundation for a character in a recent Hollywood doomsday movie, etc. There are more issues, but this should give you the idea.

Absolutely, some of what he states seems accurate and plausible, but his often delusional claims beg the question of sanity. At the very least AA is bipolar. But in my view, AA is someone who enjoys the attention of his own grand plan and its affect on others because it allows him to spit his poison at others for no apparant reason. Anyone who gets so worked up over others words, but at the same time is attempting to warn those very same people of the ultimate doom is not logically aligned. Therefore, his message is suspect.

Just my take on it.

Life is too short to waste ones time with other people's issues of egoism.

Astrophysical information should be pretty cut and dry, meaning not having to do with the ego of some little pissant element of my reality. The reinforcement of such ego through related pleas and supplications is a pathetic calling out for the attention energy of other.

When the self sufficiency of the attention energy of self is discovered, then ego is not dependent on the feelings from others, and takes it's natural and rightful place on the throne of reality. That is when the pleas of ego reinforcement coming from various "other" beings becomes such an obvious deception.

This level of behavior in terms of spiritual wisdom is at least several levels below that of the average reader of this thread, and surely should rate low on the wisdom level of a person who claims such high intelligence. Often wisdom is related to intelligence, but not always.
