Thats funny as... Most of us kids are good but there is always at least one or two who have to ruin it for the rest of us, I put it down to bad parenting.

As I have repeatedly stated on this subject, more oil leaks into the gulf every hour by natural process that was released by the entire BP incident. Anyone in the oil business or who lives on the gulf coast and fishes or is involved in the industries involved will tell you the effect was almost a non issue. The worst damage was done by the use of corexit to try to mask the oil release , which was a political and economic move done by the corporations involved and certainly not done to protect or help the environment. AND BY IGNORANT PEOPLE WHO DESTROYED THE GULF TOURISM INDUSTRY WITH FALSE INFORMATION .BTW, The Gulf would have been much better off to allow the oil to float to the top and decompose by natural process than to be dispersed by detergent agents.

AA I have often wondered if the entire GOM incident was intentional in that it occurred at the very end of the New Madrid fault line and released much pressure on a huge salt dome there, there was also an oil leak that resulted in MI from it and it all seemed so strange. Lets face it, it occurred through a comedy of errors and mistakes that seem incomprehensible. They knew what would happen and that the ability to control the well would be shaky at best as there was too much pressure.

I believe it could have been an attempt to release pressure on the fault line in an attempt to prevent and EQ. What is your opinion.

Conversely, it may have been a purposeful action to promote the New Madrid fault into action. Just as the fracking around the country is inducing increased EQ activity.

The damn plants that burn gas, combustion turbines, are the biggest energy wasters on this planet. Save the gas for cooking/home heating. Use the frikken cheap coal, low sulpher for electricity.
All our standing plants are 90% antiques.....1940's-1950's...very few new ones. It's good jobs building them, good jobs maintaining them. Cheap, clean electricity when using the low sulpher stuff or in conjunction with scrubbers.
Bad thing with scrubbers is what the hell to do with the massive piles of shit that accumulates from their use. Release the low sulpher stuff already.
