So my understanding of true electrical waves is that they are longitudinal in nature, meaning that the displacement of energy is perpendicular to the propagation of the wave. Now modern science claims all electro-magnetic energy is a photon, or transverse wave. Eric Dollard claims this is just merely the cross product of magnetic fields and dielectric fields, but does not represent true electrical energy, and infact is a retarded wave, making it of little practical use. The first image with the green filter is a UV rich solar x ray flare originating from sunspot 1444, ,c class, not really impressive but a sun burn producer low in x ray flux but high in UV radiation. These can be very damaging to exposed skin, and children should never wear short pants and sleeves or go without a hat any more.Dress them is light reflective colors that wick sweat for cooling.. The second is a minor to moderate CME originating from a sunspot just beyond the western limb of the Sun.

Keep in mind my prediction of at least a 2weeks of 'quiet' did not mean the Sun would be totally inactive, which it never is at this stage of a solar maximum. Well I think first we have to make sure we understand the difference between electromagnetic energy and electrical energy. Electrical energy is simply a flow of electrons. Electromagnetic energy originates when an electron is freed from the nucleus of an atom with all of it's properties in place that it had while in 'orbit' around the nucleus.

"Electrical energy flow" is created simply by a difference in potential between two areas connected by conductors of varying resistor, in practical applications these 'resistors' usually do some work like convert electrical energy into light or mechanical energy., whereas electromagnetic energy travels in waves along both the x and x axis. The movement or direction of the wave is pretested by the x axis and the energy contained within it mostlyalong the y axis, although there is considerable KE in an electron moving at light speed all by itself.. As for EMR ,It is simply an electron that is vibrating at high frequency in a passive oscillating to a vibrating magnetic field reversing polarity thousands of times per second. The majority of the energy of electromagnetic energy is contained within the vibration which is best represented by a sine wave motion.

Oh , I meant to mention, today I caught a newly hatched 'red eared terrapin' at Caddo lake and saw many more newly hatched turtles. (they are the pet store turtles with the red stripes on their head) He was easy to catch because he had just entered the water and was struggling to paddle through the weeds on the shoreline. I kept him and have him in an aquarium. These normally hatch in AUGUST. We had no winter here whatsoever and reptiles including snakes , lizards and turtles DID NOT HIBERNATE. I would say it was more likely our winter mimicked the normal late spring weather when the turtles lay their eggs. The large mouth bass normally spawns in late march to late April here, they spawned in Jaunty this year because the water temp hit the right temperature then. There was a CME the 26. That's not really extraordinarily high . The readings mean there are 13 protons in every cubic centimeter of space which are traveling at the rate of the solar wind, which is not excessively high but high enough to cause a fairly robust magneto pause reaction.
The most concerning thing about it all i would say is the drop in electron flux and magnetosphere strength.
