If Ehecatl were to represent an anthropomorphic form, this deity, by his attributes, is invisible and impalpable.

The feature that characterizes him is the red mouth mask in the form of a bird beak that he has on his face, and which he utilizes to clean the way for the anticipated arrival of Tlaloc, the god of rain. He always wears a cone shaped hat that which at times has a single eye over a black background simulating a starry sky.

Among his adornments are displayed the sea shells in the necklace and ear rings, and the conch shells whose spiral allude to the movement of the wind. On his breast he wears the breast plate of Quetzalcoatl, a conch shell split in two allowing one to see the spiral through which flows the air making the divine voice resonate. His name is (also) Ehecailocaozacatl, the Crown Conch of the Wind.


There exist diverse representations of Ehecatl in which he is seen accompanied by other gods.

Such is the case with Tezcatlipoca, a diety which according to the stories of creation shares with him the mission of constructing the cosmos; or with Xolotl, his twin brother god of vegetation, which in the cosmological myths, travels with Ehecatl to the underworld and helps him to rescue the bones of ancient humanity. As well he is seen with Mitlantecuhtli, the god of death and the underworld.


In antiquity, the masters invoked this god by lighting 3 candles of virgen wax in the temple.

Ehecatl teaches how to leave in the astral body, helps long and short journeys, and in daily work. If we ask him, and always in accordance with the divine law, he will remove a chronic illness, an enemy or a bad neighbor. But Ehecatl demands a payment for his blessings. What he demands is something that should be done impersonally and good works among people without distinction of race, creed or class. This is the way to acquire cosmic credit or cosmic money. By doing these kinds of works all the time one might become a great initiate with help and protection, and doing what the spirit asks of us.

I'm going to go aginst accepted accademia in that I'm going to say the Earth will lose axis, tumble for days.....

The liquid center will eventually reestablish a spin, but we will end up "upside down" and the same orientation spin will slowly resume but sunrise will "once again" be in the west.

Velikovski never did decide that conclusively. (whether we would flip or reverse polarity).

Ok Henry, You're making predictions so I'll give it a shot.

First of all, outside of hypothetical effects of unexpected massive extraterrestrial bodies, the motion of the earth and its axis of rotation is not going to make any drastic changes. That idea simply is not supported by any solid scientific basis.

The earth will expand, maybe more rapidly at times, but by just a few inches or feet in circumference, in accordance with the evidence. There could be great earthquakes and tsunamis associated with this.

The magnetic pole may disappear for some decades before switching, which will cause life on the planet to be exposed to more ionizing radiation. This in itself won't heat the atmosphere much but it will increase risk of genetic damage to those out in the day time.

Volcanic activity will increase and that will cause oceans to warm and the vapors that they release into the atmosphere will cause more precipitation everywhere. Those areas that are temperate will simply receive more rain, and those areas that receive snow will glaciate, and this will be an ice-age, although not the whole planet will freeze, and the oceans will be warmer. This is how ice ages sometimes work.

The sun might get more active and bathe the earth in more heat or radiation, but that effect might be counterbalanced on the earth for the first century or so by increased cloud cover.


Unfortunately the greatest risk of all will remain which will be radionuclides which will be accidentally or purposely released by the hundreds of aging and ill designed nuclear reactors around the world. Humans are the most susceptible creature of all to damage by radiation, and it is possible that humans will be decimated by radioactive fallout, (the material that gets ingested in the body, not the radiation itself), leaving most other life on earth mostly intact.

Nah, I just had 30 years listening to my dad talk and reading his science journals. He is a sr. western regional director of USGS. I didn't study geology or astrophysics in college, but did learn a lot from my dad and his associates, who seemed to agree with him that certain beliefs of academic geologists are fundamentally flawed.

You probably know better than me, because all I know is what I hear from professional geologists, and I have known at least a half a dozen well in my life.

I meant no offense, didn't sound as though you took any.

Much of what you heard, while not pure "accepted acadamia" was clearly flawed.
