I have several charts that I monitor continuously when I am actively monitoring space weather activity, and they are always open on a window of my browser (firefox running on Linux).

I also record data through screen shots when something out of the ordinary occurs. I did not write the code so i do not know precisely how it works, but a friend who is a computer expert and can write code wrote a program that would automatically open the effected window in my browser from the series of websites that are being continuously monitored (there are 6 in total) if the charts showed a sudden numerical change.

I don't have the time or inclination to learn this complex and dis interesting subject at this point , but I do know the program my friend wrote is very short and simple and could be done by any competent computer oriented person because it took him only about five minutes to write it and insert it into the add ons on the firefox program.

Are you insinuating I am lying? How many times have you done this and been slammed hard against boards?
