In this case what I see, is that the ego of AA is centered on the idea of his intelligence and greatness, and in terms of the work he has invested so far to support that ego (it has a certain weight and mass too!), in terms of this thread it is important that the predictions come true that he was so sure of. So his ego is also riding on the rail he of his predictions, which he set up so solidly himself in advance. I'm not going to get into a metaphysical debate as to whether an ego can have weight or mass; yes, AA has set himself up for a fall, that is obvious, however I look for the reasoning behind that sacrifice of ego (if one sets oneself up for failure by date, that is inevitable if the event does not come to pass). Why bother? There is no ego-inflation to be gained by constant defence, dismissal or degradation. He certainly has an intelligence and an understanding which appears to have been disrespected, therefore leading to insults towards those who chose to counter his ideas. It is sad that a forum designed for *alternative* ideas seems to have a policing system to take out (by unfair psychological means) the very basis of it's existence.
