Look at this photograph, it's the lasco c2 image. notice the particles:the challenge is this.. post the image you were referring to (plus or minus 1 hour UT from the time of that post) for added bonus points what are the particles called and what was it's cause. Be specific The image has been scrubbed from the archives and it skips over it and that particles could have been protons, neutrons or incomplete atoms that were in the process of disintegrating. The cause was a CME directed almost 180 degrees off center with the Earth in the western limb of the Sun (left side of the image) the image has not been scrubbed dipshit. you have NO CLUE how to use the archive.. particles are called a PROTON event. sooo..was the CME associated with a flare and if so how big was the flare?btw..you have your left mixed up w/right W. limb is RIGHT side  <==YOU=:hahafail: pg 318 was a hoot!
