I do not believe anyone who claims to have contact with alien life forms who are giving them information about the future, but I do think some of the louder mouths here are in for a big serving of crow. While for whatever reason the solar maximum has thus far been very tame, radical changes have occurred in interplanetary space and with the Sun itself, as well as with the Earths magneto pause and magnetosphere. Any Earth directed radiation storm will have magnified results. For whatever reason the solar maximum is late in developing, but this could change very suddenly.

You have to remember what I have been trying to tell everyone who will listen, we have entered uncharted territory and it is difficult to predict chronologically with accuracy when the radical increase in solar activity will occur, but I have a strong feeling we have simply been very lucky with the timing as sunspots seem to fade as they become geo effective.
