What is most important is that you fail to understand how Doppler radar works. It cant determine wind speed for if the wind is moving vertically. Do a bit a homework before you make these claims, the radar base sends out a signal that is reflected back. It determines the speed at which an object is moving towards or away from the location of the radar base. If a column of air is moving directly down as you claim there would be no way for the doppler radar to determine the wind speed. Even in the case of a tornado, doppler radar can only determine rotation in clouds it cant even determine if the tornado touched the ground.
