Look into the history of the planets climate and the evidence of the warming and cooling cycles through history.

I still do not believe that man has much if anything to do with "global warming" as that still smacks of hubris coupled with chicken little syndrome two things that man as a species seems to have in abundance.

Of course man effects the climate because everything does so I guess we could always blame the dinosaurs for their warm cycle swing as well.

Now the only thing AA is right about and it is quite small and WELL known is that the sun plays a part in the cycle.

Very nice pic indeed. IDW does provide endless amounts of entertainment, you have to give him that much credit, even if it's not necessarily intentional.

Yet, when it appears in the sky as a comet, falls toward the Sun in predictable Newtonian ways, hopefully is visible as a comet, and then either disappears because its too close to the Sun, or exits the solar system forever as a comet -- will you admit that it *was* a comet?

Or, put more simply: what evidence could convince you that ISON is nothing more or less than a comet?

I do not have a problem admitting I am wrong, it doesn't happen often as I research/learn/ask questions continuously.
When I have been wrong ion my life, I admit it immediately and learn from it. This is the only way life works for me.

Then please do some research on "Hopi" predictions. They were falsely put forth but non-native American.

Well -- that begs an interesting question. What *would* you consider an IDW/A.A defeat? If his oft-quoted mistakes and failed predictions about *dozens* of subjects isn't defeat, then what *is,* in your opinion? When ISON turns out to act like a normal comet, will *that* be a defeat of IDW/A.A, according to you?

After all: if you consider a victory the thread simply going another day, then yes, this thread could be considered quite victorious for IDW/A.A. It just depends on what conditions you consider victorious ones.

For me, I certainly consider the thread victorious simply because IDW/A.A proved so completely and disastrously wrong about any number of subjects that he was very, very certain of. And it was hysterical watching that, and watching reality take him down a peg or two.

That depends on how you define it. My mind is not open to *every* possibility any more than yours is. You do use some kind of discernment in your day to day thinking.

I can keep an open mind so long as the claims fit the evidence. IDW/A.A's claims decidedly do *not.*

Now, would you consider answering my questions from before?

And at the end of the year when nothing happens, you'll quietly disappear like all the other fearmongers before you.
