We had plenty before the give away. The U.S. Gov. needs to quit offering and selling our (U.S.A.) oil reserves or leases to foreign oil companies (like BP). All oil and all mineral rights should be offered to American businesses only!. Those oil and mineral leases belong to the American people and shouldn't be given away...thats my thought...

None of you get the big picture. You have been told that oil is scarce. It is not. You have been told that oil is a non-renewable resource, when that is the opposite of the truth. You have been told that our entire economy would collapse if oil were to run out...but it would not.

Wars these days can not be created unintentionally, nor have they been for several thousand years. Our generous and excellent friends in the middle east are happy to play the part of bad guy when necessary. We pay them back by buying their oil, on which we get a good discount for high volume business. It really is a good partnership.
